I wish Kishi never let SP convince him to make this travesty. It's damaging the Naruto series more than the epilogue. At least there you can fill in your own holes with what happened that were more consistent. Logic went out the window with this movie so long ago ....

Hey, I'm fine with this. If they're willing to treat the series as a joke, I'll do the same from here on.

Not yo give anyones hopes up but according to "asa ch" the spoilers Jemma gave were fake and makes a pretty convincing argument

Its on his facebook, however he also told me he personally saw the preview which is completely unlikely for several reasons

It really is one of the worst set ups to a... ahem... "love story" that I have ever seen.

I told one of my good friends (bless her for this), who heard of Naruto, about the ending in detail when I was really upset about it. This is what she told me, along these lines:

 

"Yeah, that creator really does not give a kitten. He's sending hypocritical, sexist mixed messages and from what you're saying he ruined Naruto the main character too. He was orphan and now he's a bad father? The theme in the manga is "don't give up" and he made Naruto give up on the girl he loved? It's like the guy who wrote this just gave up too. It sounds like Mass Effect 3. It's kitten, absolute kitten, and the pairing subplot is terrible. I'm sorry your ship sunk for this. Move on to better, happy anime with endings that won't leave you thinking you just wasted 7 years of your life.

 

I never got in Naruto and after hearing this, I'm glad I never did."

Sasuke isn't the only one who is twisted. Naruto is more twisted, playing with a girl's feeling.

So, all the moments of NaruSaku shown in the manga and the anime are all fake? Just a manifestation of Naruto and Sasuke's rivalry?

I will say from a visualization stand point this movie looks absolutely amazing with a really sh*tty storyline. My cousin, Ria, was telling me how it would've been cool if Sasuke's role in the movie revolved around Kaguya's well being. Basically the idea Kishi had in mind on why he's atoning for his sins, but decided to drop. Plus she agreed with my idea of this movie having a Frozen type of message with the movie. Basically a movie that's dedicated to Hinata moving on from Naruto's feelings since he's with Sakura, and Hanabi being that support figure that helps her out. By the end of the movie when everything goes back to normal, Hanabi tells Hinata to be honest with Naruto instead of hiding. Hinata tells Naruto, and he responds with "I know Hinata, but you should know I don't feel the same way. Just know I'll always be there for you as a brother like Neji." Hinata sees Naruto and Sakura walking off, and Hinata gives Hanabi a hug with a smile telling her, "Thank you so much, Hanabi." That's where the movie ends. The message of The Last would've been great if it went this route because no matter what you go through your sibling will always be there to support you. That would've been a great story.

 

That's what she believes would've made this a great movie.

Honestly, your cousin Ria would have been a better director for this movie than this Kobayashi guy. That girl speaks the truth! That's what everyone (except the NaruHina fans) would love to see.

He'll explains stuff, like why Sakura's parents aren't in the manga, The truth about Neji's Death.
His opinion about Sakura as a character.
Stuffs he couldn't put in the last chapter for various reasons.
And what to expect from the franchise from now on.

 

You can't tell people your opinion about a charactor, you have to show them, and he's shown us enough already. How are we meant to believe the words that come out from Kishi's mouth when the end contradicted 16 years worth of words he told us in his manga?

 

No one ever questions Oda-Sensie, what he thinks about his charactors, he's shown them all love and his manga shows us what his opinions are. Kishi now has to spends the rest of his life knowing that whenever he gives an interview he will have to justify his ending.

 

All we can hope for is in a few years time he'll be free from any contractual obligations and we'll get his real reasons for this ending. Did he stop caring? Did his fathers death make him realise he needed to spend more time with his family and just hand over his story to SP?

 

This ending really does not make make sense, at first I thought the story was atleast written by Kishi but that doesn't appear to be the case.

It's very predictable, all he's going to say is that she's a kind girl for not giving up on Sasuke (a blantant lie, like the rest of his manga). Sasuke is the extent of her character now, so there's nothing else he could say about her.

Can this kittening movie get any dummer? Now Hinata is the shy wallflower who does not feel like she has the guts to address the guy she has a crush on b/c some fangirls were able to cling onto Naruto before Hinata?

Yeah why is he going to waste his time on sakura? Clearly we were wrong about her being the heroine, so why is she important now? He is better off giving us a backstory on tenten or karin or something. He has done far to much damage with sakura as it is. I don't want to hear how he is going to say sakura was such a great woman to always love sasuke and how he loves how sakura wasn't a terrible woman because she didn't go for Naruto. Please, and what's worse is he is gonna talk about sakuras parents? What for? What importance do they have? Its not like sakuras parents are part of Narutos family now. Kishimoto doesn't need to throw the sakura or narusaku fans a bone, because most of them are beyond pissed that nothing can salvage the damage that has been done, he will just make it worse for himself by trying to justify anything.

funny thing is she just got into Naruto just a month ago, and it only took her to thanksgiving week to finish the series. I already said this, but she's a NH/SS fan when it comes to visualizing, but development wise she always knew it was gonna be NS. I'm still shocked by the fact that she managed to finish up the series that quick. Reason why I say that is because Ria's a junior in high school taking AP and honors classes. So to see her find that much time and devotion to a series just amazes me. Though I will say that she's thinking about taking animation cause she wants her dream career to become an original Anime Director and a script writer. Although, Ria did tell me that she may do a Naruto animated short film based on my idea of The Last. 

 

Thought I'd also share this but Ria told me that she kittened at two of her friends (who are also NH/SS shippers) gushing over the ending like fangirls, and she brought up every point why it doesn't work. After her long speech her friends were like "Damn we were fools to think this ending was great."

 

Ria then told me that "Hey I TNJ'd my friends that are NH/SS shippers like me and why this ending doesn't make sense." 

 

gotta say I got a good laugh out of that.
