shortening life is one of the most generic side effects ever concieved. honestly it's used so much in anime/manga. its there because theres a risk that poses no immediate threat but its a threat that seems like something to be worried about when in actuality you'll never see the side effects.

Ive been thinking about that. As an Uzumaki Naruto is bound to live 100+ years. How long would Sakura last? Maybe him loose some life would be a good thing. So he and Sakura could have more balanced lifetimes.

Also. The seal itself does no shorten your life. Memonic regeneration regenerates you cells rapidly. But shizune stated you can only do that a limiteted times because aparently you cant heal that many cells that often. Same with the original 4 tails cloak.

as an Uzumaki, Naruto is better at life then anyone else in the world (except maybe Karin). From the moment he was born he was a master of just being alive. That is the key trait of an Uzumaki. They are very hard to kill and live excessively long lives. on top of that they heal rapidly and have a great deal of stamina. That said, Sakura comes from a civilian family and has a natural talent for genjutsu along with perfect chakra control.

In terms of fighting style its clear how they would work. Naruto would be a front line melee fighter while Sakura is a mid range genjutsu user whom can rely on effective dodging skills and brute strength in case of unexpected close range ambush. given that Sakura is also a medic there's also the posibility of a healer + tank combo where Naruto acts as the tank. RPG logic anyone?

Do you think that if Sakura meets with Sasuke again with Naruto that she would actually aim to kill without any hesitations anymore??

That seems to be the answer to everyone's problems these days
Though considering shes cut in half I think the one certainty is that she is not going to make it. Since she had a large impact on the story she can't just die quietly. Shikamaru inherited Asuma's will when he died, Naruto inherited Jiraiya's will and sage jutsu when he died, Sasuke inherited Orochimaru when he was assimilated??? Therefore if Tsunade dies, Sakura will most likely inherit her will or in this case the Yin seal.

It makes sense seeing that Sakura is a medic ninja and needs to inherit her master's will. Plus I can see Naruto telling Sakura to go and heal them. What do you guys think?

There's not really any proof, the only thing I assume is that Sakura is healing the ones who survived those spikes but as for Sai I have no idea. Thing is almost the entire army is concentrated near the Juubi and because HQ was destroyed their lines of communication are brought down. Now the only way they can go to the Kages is if Madara tells the entire army what he did to the Kages or if Sakura summons Katsuya.

Jiraya was a loner because he didnt end up with Tsuande. Why would Naruto remarry.

I actually prefer the Jiraya option. Sakura should last 80 years so. Naruto wouldnt exactly be marriage material anymore whould he.

But in any case I would find it hard to see him moving on from Sakura when she dies. In his mind he would probably feel like hes cheating on her. NS until the end of time.

Honestly I agree with you. But the way I see it, it goes one of 2 ways.

He becomes Jiraiya or he'll remarry. Naruto would probobly spend the rest of his life training 3 man squads for literally no reason since the world will be at peace and combat skills will be useless.

The edo tensei is really weird.

We have Sarutobi resurrected looking like he looked at the time he died while Hashirama and Tobirama seem to be in their prime. Now assuming that Tobirama died when he passed the Hokageship to Sarutobi it means that also somehow Hashirama died young. What's odd thou about that scene with Tobirama Sarutobi and Danzou is that Hiruzen seemed younger than when he was training Jiraya and co. Also Hashirama got to see and play with his granddaughter.


Anyway if we only had some notion of when they died or made children or became Hokage we could calculate how long Mito was alive. But 210 years seems a lot. Maybe somewhere along the lines of 125-130.

Where did you get that Naruto can live more than 200 yers did you forgot that when he become he went 4-tails that occasion might shortened his life span.

Perhaps Naruto may die earlier than Sakura. Like Avatar. It's possible. Kishi can say if he decided to go with a sequel.

well as far as we know the idea of shortening lifespan does literally nothing since it's never explained and every time it's brought up it's always something like "If you keep doing that you'll shorten your lifespan" never directly telling Naruto "you're lifespan has been shortened by 209 years because you scuffed your knee. If anyone's lifespan has been shortened it's Lee and Gai who obliterated their own bodies.

I don't think we'll see one of them dying when they get old. If Sakura died before Naruto, he won't remarry. Plus, he'll be already very old.

I believe that we'll just see them in their prime with their child or children at the end.
