lol That Kishimoto interview where he states that he didn't put romantic love into the manga/avoided it because it too embarrassing. Says a lot about all the NS development I suppose.

While the manga was geared toward friendship, the theme in The Last: Naruto the Movie will be about love. Kishimoto-sensei explains the idea was originally from the anime producers. He himself was unable to write about love in the manga, it was something he avoided due to feelings of embarrassment, so he felt this could go well as a movie theme to further show Naruto’s growth. The script for the movie was not written exclusively by Kishimoto-sensei, rather he was given a script so that he could recommend changes to properly flesh out the story and set the mood.
So not only was the idea not his he didn't even write the script, just suggested changes? What more can we say about that.....the more you find out about the movie the more you can't help but feel that the theory about Kishi's hand being forced being true, you can't help but wonder if he was convinced that fans don't care for the pairings and that NaruHina would be fine, or did they have him in a contractual obligation?
Maybe part three really is a way of Kishi connecting the original two pairings together, Bolt and Salad, is his way of spritually getting NaruSaku and SasuKari together.
While I do want to believe it, the chances are we may never find out the truth behind this movie....everything about the plot stinks so far, Kishi's quality might have dipped this past few years, but it was still enough to keep you interested in the manga, and a hundred times better than everything in the movie. So I should accept the facts we know that the theories.
A part of me can't comprehend how someone who gave us strong female (though not always well written) female charactors like Tsunade, Kushina, Karin, Temari and Sakura would make Hinata the final pairing, he's shown us through the entire manga he prefers that spice when it comes to pairings, even the brief moment we were shown the Third Hokages wife we say a strong independant woman...Mikoto might have been the only typical 'Hinata ' like mother and even she was shown having some personality when she teases Kushina. Hinata literally goes against everything he has shown about the type of woman he prefers.
Maybe i'm grasping a straws here, but this movie just won't leave my mind, anything else I would have given up weeks ago, but this movie is literally the antihesis of the 698 chapters of the manga, it's a puzzle that literally does not make sense. I want to believe Kishi hasn't sold out, so maybe I'd rather believe his hand was forced, Kishi has already made millions, I doubt this movie would add tha much more to his bank account than a movie based around Team Seven. Ahhh...too many conspiracy theories out there nowadays that it's hard to accept anything at face value.
