I watched the first season of LoaK, then I stopped. I just didn't like how rushed all the development was in practically everything, it was just so painful to look at. Korra mastering all four elements in just the first book was the biggest letdown and there wasn't much substance after that to make me engaged on what happens next. I also will never understand why Bolin's crush had to be so carelessly used on a Borra date, then have his heart broken for no reason. I couldn't even get behind Makorra honestly. Korra's behavior with Mako is just really ... immature. Part 1 Sakura w/ Sasuke you could even say.

 

Everything in LoaK just kind of sucked in comparison to ATLA. Kataang was developed extremely well and the story spanned all 3 seasons with proper character development and storyline. I feel like their characters had substance and most of the LoaK ones don't have that.

 

Maybe I'll watch S2 at some point, but's it more to know what's all the fuss on how terrible it is. Looking at S1, I'm not surprised.

Season 2 really got everyone on their bad side and I can't blame them. I mean wow, two characters made me dislike them more so than season 1 did and it's worse when you know their developments.

Her barely tearing up doesn't really compete with the river of tears she had before, you can argue that she was holding them back all you want but no such evidence was given. You can also make the argument that you'd lose respect for her for crying during a critical scene like this but if there was any scene that required her to actually pore her heart out its when the title character/love interest is dying there's nothing wrong with showing emotion AND doing the same thing she's doing now to keep him alive. 

 

Its not a matter of trolling I'm just going by evidence laid out in front, My apologies I was unaware stating my own personal opinion on an internet forum was so frowned upon.

I just want to put in two cents here because the LoK series was original made to be a mini series. But it got such a good reception after the first two episodes that they decided to expand the series. But that's why it was so fast passed. They basically passed all the time that it took Korra to learn the different elements so they could move on to the climax. It was suppose to be done in only one season of 12 episodes. It was just a little something extra for all the avatar fans. So if you look at the first season and understand why it was so fast paced it is actually pretty good. 

 

For all its flaws I did like the bending. It looked cool. 

 

Season 2 is pretty bad. Except for the episode about the original Avatar! That is a good episode. 

 

 

 

But back to Naruto and Sakura - I think the reason why Sakura isn't crying her face off is because she is in survival mode. Her goal right now is save Naruto. Once she has that under control then her feelings can take over. 

 

You know when your in a high stress situation and you do everything you can to fix that situation, a lot of times people don't panic or cry until its said and done. When they actually have time to think about how close of a call it actually was.

 

But this is just speculation.

I know right? But it was cool that they explained the origin. And I liked the change in artwork too. It was really pretty. 

 

I'll still watch season three and four. Just because I have to know how it ends... I'm stubborn like that.

I think I read in an interview that Kishi said he intended to show Kakshi's face. He just wasn't sure how he should do it. But I think he knows that everyone has been waiting for it since the beginning. 

 

I can try and find the interview again. I think someone posted it somewhere on this forum already though.

Theres a lot of conversations going on. One is slightly off topic about Legend of Korra, and follow up series to the very popular Avatar the Last Airbender. 

 

And then there is a conversation about the unseen Kakashi face. 

 

And another one asking if Sakura is crying enough. lol.

Nah that's alright :) I've heard about the interview on the topic of kakashi's face as well so don't worry lol. And besides I have a pretty good idea on how Kishi is going to reveal his anyway, it just depends on how Kishi is going to kill off Obito though. So I gotta be a good little boy and be patient about it X) though it is very annoying to keep on waiting!! Lol

Ugh. Sakura's a flaw character, but she's still my favorite character in the series.

Honestly, I was not speaking to you directly or quoting you.  However, I can understand how you might think that, and I apologize if you felt singled out.  There are more naysayers and Development Deniers^TM than yourself who visit these threads.

 

Maybe if you had been around here during the meltdown after #615, you might better understand why those of us who never doubt NS, and never doubt Sakura's growth as a character, and never doubt Kishimoto's ultimate goal begin to cringe when there's so much negativity.  Even a theoretically safe haven like H&E was a scary place then, and we've managed to put it behind us.

 

But no matter what positive signs are in the story, no matter how well they are explained and supported, no matter how many people agree, there are always some people who are not satisfied or live in fear.  For some it's easier... or better... or more fun to focus on what they perceive as negative.  It's allowed, but it's difficult to understand sometimes -- especially after the vortex of hysteria that was #615.

I don't know what to tell you.  A number of people, including myself, have made solid and logical cases that suggest otherwise.  If you choose the "Sakura doesn't care enough" viewpoint no one can stop you.

It's not.  Likewise, feeling that constant negativity -- especially in light of so many positive NS developments to talk about -- is tiresome and seems like trolling is just a personal opinion too.
