The flaw in Ino's mentality that she is attracted to a man for reasons that are completely shallow in nature. There is no expressed desire to understand who Sasuke is psychologically or even to try and vindicate his name as Naruto has been attempting to do. Has there ever been an inkling from Ino that her sentiments have any altruistic qualities? Does she value Sasuke's opinions on herself or matters in general? At least with her teammates there have been some insinuations that they may see her as more than a friend. One example of this being Ino's conversation with Choji at the beginning of the Sasuke Retrieval Arc when she was playfully teasing him about his weight and stating that he should change his appearance if he wants to acquire the attention of any girls, this is with a suggestive look on her face and I believe Choji may have been blushing during this moment.

Ino's "love" for Sasuke is practically just as lustful in nature as Karin's. It's unhealthy and she needs to understand that there are reasons for becoming involved with someone apart from leacherous desires or because of some twisted concept of what is a good personality. When hearing these other fans argue that Sakura's "love" has been rekindled by Sasuke's appearance I can't help but think how hypocritical or dismissive that notion is because they seem to be under the impression that Sakura is the only one with these "feelings" for Sasuke. Well what about Ino and Karin? If we use their logic then would it not be impossible for those two to remain forever bound emotionally to Sasuke? Or can there be resolution to these girls' feelings? Can they not move past their childish infatuations and understand what true love is? That's my question to these people.

The SS fandom needs to consider all possible angles to this predicament of theirs because Sakura is not the only one who must contend with their feelings for Sasuke. Although I don't believe either Sakura or Ino will remain with him. The most likely candidate for that position will be Karin and you know... At least Sasuke has shown concern for her wellbeing in the past. With Karin there is/was at least some resemblance to positive emotional dedication from Sasuke. SK does have its many flaws but they aren't as severe as the alternatives.

Bolded almost makes me think that now that everyone is around Sasuke that maybe something will happen that could help resolve whatever feelings they have for Sasuke at the same time, well at least Ino and Sakura since I am not sure if karin is there.

I don't really see any reason to keep anyone to having feelings for him, maybe now they can witness together first hand why they shouldn't have these feelings.

Maybe Sasuke will turn on them after the juubi is dealt with. Then try to kill Naruto and Sakura will move on after this?

Sounds a bit far fetched

I mean Sasuke is in the presence of the entire shinobi alliance after all.

Well, Juubi is still around, so we don't know what's next after Juubi is out of the picture. I mean pretty much once Juubi is out, won't it be easy win down the line? I got no clue on how Kishi will create a struggle.

As far as I'm concerned, Sakura's not really in love with Sasuke. At least not this Sasuke. The background of her current "love" for Sasuke is solely because of the Part 1 Sasuke that she knew and loved. She's essentially holding on to the memory of who Sasuke was, which affects how she feels for the present Sasuke. More or less, Sakura's in love with a memory. I daresay Karin isn't, as dysfunctional and unhealthy as it is, simply because she traveled with the Sasuke who left the village. I dislike SasuKarin, but this is one of the reasons it's "better" than SasuSaku. At least you can't say Karin doesn't know him or that Sakura knows him better.

That's why I believe Sakura's feelings for Sasuke will resurface if he plans on staying on the "good" side.  But this doesn't threaten us because Sakura's has an extremely strong bond with Naruto, far stronger than her bond to Sasuke. So yep, Sakura will likely chose Naruto.

Its great we're all excited for Sakura, but how about some love for Naruto. Now that everyone is here he will finally get to show his stuff, granted everyone looks like they're about to have their turn first.

Naruto has been rising as well as his team, so soon, Naruto will get his BM ready and probably take out Juubi right away. I guess it's a good thing that he's not ready to go all out because he will hog the spotlight from his team. Well, it does make a good climax when it's ready. Also, Naruto is targeted by Juubi, so it's nice to see him getting helped.

As much as I can't stand the way sasuke is being handled, I am really starting to see he needs to be on the side of the angels when Sakura sorts her feelings out. Or, maybe I'm just starting to see that it would really put SS to rest without someone swearing up and down the ship would have sailed has Sasuke been good.

Naruto needs to know she would pick him given the chance to pursue/date Sasuke. In the latest chapter it looked like he was getting jealous because she said Sasuke when they rescued her. He still sees Sasuke as a "threat".

Who knows, maybe its one of the reasons Kishi decided to make this huge turn around for Sasuke. To finally put to rest the team seven love triangle.

Now if we can get a full confirmation that sakura is no longer interested in Sasuke as more than a friend, then sure. Turn him back into what most people thought was going to be the ultimate villain of the story, before this weak turn around nonsense

Even if we don't get a confirmation her feelings for Naruto, it would be nice to see her free of her romantic feelings for Sasuke before N and S decide to really talk about their relationships. .

I still think there's a reason why Team 7 reunion happened the way it is as well as happening early in the manga. I just don't know what.

Maybe it's the calm before the storm. Right now there are few plausible scenarios and all of them share the same status. None is more favored.

Also NS and SS will clash soon but not sure when or how because the love triangle always was something between the lines.

Maybe. I always think this is too easy. It's not the pairing I'm concerned. It's the story direction in this. I can't think that this will be easy walk for them. So what's going to change all that? It's also strange how calm Madara is about this. Naruto can destroy Juubi with the help of other beasts. I don't know what's going on with Sasuke as well. This is just so many guesses.

Exactly, and thinking of your quote about "How NS will become cannon", the same can be said about the story " How will the story go?"

Well guys, what do you think? We've seen Kishi compared Kushina's traits to Sakura twice within the last two chapters? Are we going to se more next week?

That's what I worry about as well. To me it's now obvious that NS will happen but I worry about how Kishi might handle it, especially when it comes to how Sakura will interact with Sasuke from now on.

At least in 632 Sakura herself made it a point that Naruto was overthinking things just because Sakura noticed Sasuke first at the end, but I hope that at no point Sakura goes showing any sort of genuine preferential treatment towards Sasuke because that would truly then be seen as a regression to her character.

Sakura needs to:

1) See Naruto and Sasuke as equal teammates

2) See Naruto with more romantic care than Sasuke

3) See her romantic feelings for Sasuke in serious analytic way, not with simple joy.

The progression of Sakura's character shouldn't come at the cost of regression. It would be bad if she becomes hopeful regarding her feelings for Sasuke since it would be ignoring the development she's had in the story. If she thinks about her love for Sasuke once again it needs to be an extremely serious moment that makes Sakura really think.

Kishi is developing the love triangle from all sides..

Naruto>Sakura

Sakura to both Naruto and Sasuke

Sasuke>???

I don't think Sasuke has ever once cared about romance to any degree. He has simply never considered it, or has considered it and deemed it irrelevant and somewhat regressive to his motives. The problem with the latest developments is that once again we lack the necessary information to properly determine Sakura's current feelings.

And since you mention Sasuke, I was wondering, have we ever seen him smile? I mean I'm sure we have in a flashback to when he was like 5, but have we ever seen him form a truly happy smile Itachi's genocide mission?

this last chapters showed that kishi wants to make some amends regarding her character.

The issue of love thou probably will be adressed when the conflict between comes in the spotlight.

As for the How dont think it will be that much drama.

I would not put it past Kishi to have Sasuke personally declare it himself that he is asexual or that he lacks any sort of attraction towards others in that matter. Regardless of what his intentions were at the time or what his situation was Sasuke's sentiments were always platonic in nature. Unless Kishi decides to allow him to miraculously formulate romantic desires in the near future then when/if Sakura's feelings for him (if they even still exist) are brought forth to be resolved there will not be any contention between Naruto and Sasuke over her since the latter isn't concerned with such notions that he likely perceives as trivial in nature.

It rarely ever occurs but Sasuke did occasionally smile when he was part of Team 7.

http://i.imgur.com/o43upZ9.jpg - It isn't exactly a smile of warmhearted compassion but he did appear to be content with his life and with his relationship with Naruto as rivals striving to outperform the other. There have been other instances as well but they were usually created as a reaction to something like a combat ability or person whom he believed was impressive. Or he would give an egotistical smirk every now and then. If that counts.

I have found only one instance of smiling where Sasuke seems happy.
naruto-7943.jpg

This was right after he killed Itachi, only seconds before he passes out.

Only problem is I can't tell if it's a happy relieved smile or an evil successful-revenge smile. The blood all over his face makes it difficult to tell.

In any case the only way for Sasuke to smile is to achieve his lifelong dream, and even then it barely qualifies as a smile. Maybe Sasuke just isn't the kind of person who likes to be happy.
