The problem was that Aang was a neglecting father towards his two eldest, those who are not airbenders. Their grudge is so great they are still not over it, in their 50's. Katara was not even mentioned. I wouldn't mind if they presented family issues, because no family is perfect irl or in a:tla. It was all to develop the siblings, but they did not consider their parents characters at all. It made them OOC. The solution was a comforting family picture(which didn't solve anything, just softened the blow), except Tenzin who got proper conclusion with his father.´
I really wouldn't call it neglect, more like appreciation. Put it this way, how would you feel if your entire race was wiped out, and then later on you find someone from your race? Well that's how Aang felt when Tenzin entered the world. He saw a child who could help revive airbenders. So of course he's going to groom him.

The best cartoon ever. In my opinion, and in general. 9,1 on IMDB, which is the highest rating of all animated series.

The best cartoon ever. In my opinion, and in general. 9,1 on IMDB, which is the highest rating of all animated televisions.
I've been thinking about watching it
though I know there's more than 1 series and books and kitten is there any particular order I need to go in? (I didn't really bother doing research because....well because i'm lazy)

Watch it in order. It is an ongoing story, not a simpson-type of show. Season 1-3. Or books, as they call it.

What is LoK?
The Legend of Korra, it's the sequel to Avatar with different characters and centering on the Avatar after Aang.

You know, I still think the most anticipated moment for everyone here especially myself is the wake up. I know I shouldn't bet my money on it, but the setup feels very, well, setup.
Yeah the wake up moment is Definetly what everyone is expecting the most right now. The only question is how is it going to be set up?? I've been trying to look into this in a writers point of view as best I could and right now I would say it'd be best to wake up Sasuke first in the next few chapters but still drag on Naruto's awakening as long as he can. It would keep readers in suspense of when the heck naruto is going to wake up and make them into the story more and more.
Now as a NS fan I also want to see a NS moment when he wakes up but not the hugging, kissing and tears of relief. I want too see him rescue sakura from certain death than anything. Naruto has rescued sakura with her in his arms before and it makes a whole lot more sense to me that that will happen then any other romantic gesture.( though I wouldn't mind a big ol' bear hug afterwards XD lol)
