Why did Kishi make this the cover? 

You know the only thing interesting about this cover to me is naruto and Hinatas eyes. NH fans keep mentioning about the hand holding scene so that's the only thing they see on this cover, but they hardly talk about the eyes. When I see their eyes, it's easy to tell that they aren't looking at each other but what's behind them.....Neji. And that look gives the message that volume was talking about. Even if a comrade dies they will always be inside us and we would continue to move forward, like Naruto, Hinata and the rest of the alliance did. So It may have been a NH moment but it wasn't a romantic moment like most people say it is. But that's my opinion on the matter so meh X)

Even if SS were to happen (god forbid) they will never have the level of closeness, respect and admiration like NS has. Well, it's not like SS has any of that as of now lol.

Actually, I see SS as a threat to NS than NH. I know its dark, dull, no admiration, no development etc. But, if in the end Sakura chooses Sasuke over Naruto due to her 'lingering' feelings, as someone said, god forbid!

I don't worry about SS happening ,or NH for that matter and it's all due to the basics really . Naruto is truly in love with Sakura-Chan which means that he will love her all his life and he will never love another but her . Being in true love and being in love is different . Narutos love will only get stronger for Sakura-Chan . And as for SS , well Kishimoto will go against every message he has shown in this story ,It would be like Naruto didn't achieve his dream . And Kishimoto , would go against all of Sakura-Chan's development towards Naruto .

What? We already discussed a long time ago that the line Minato used in the raw is exactly the one a parent would say when they meet their child's fiancee.

 

It's unsurprising considering that a second ago Naruto had just introduced Sakura as sort of his girlfriend.

 

Maybe it's supposed to have a double meaning. Both about healing and as a tease towards Naruto and Sakura.

Minato said 息子をお手柔からに願います... which means "I leave my son in your hands" or "Please take care of my son" or "I leave my son to you". 

 

I think what redragon is trying to say is that it means he's asking Sakura to heal Naruto, but since it's a sentence parents usually say to their children's fiance, it could be interpreted in the sense that Minato is using this sentence in a double meaning (the healing meaning and the fiance meaning), since Naruto said Sakura was his girlfriend, plus Minato seemed pleased by his son's choice of girlfriend when he was smilling while watching the scene between Naruto and Sakura as she was reminded him of his own wife; so it's possible for him to use this sentence in a romantic way.

 

But again, it's all about interpretation, it's a personal opinion, we will surely never get a confirmation. I personnaly think it was a double meaning, but it will never be confirmed.  

 

@redragon: I read your question about Sai's opinon concerning Sakura's motives during the Iron land Arc, and I will work on the translations and the japaneses opinons about it, I have the raw chapters to do it, but I will not be able to do it before a few days, I'm kinda busy lately .

sorry for this being of topic (if it is) but I just remebered that Kishi said he will not end the story with NS..... if you are a NH fan here to troll I would like to say this.......... that doesn't mean it won't happen BEFORE the last chapter. so NS will go canon. and from the looks of it, It will stick around TO the end.

 

I think not having NS happen at the end is great. It will be fun to see them behave more like a couple when NS goes canon. Having it happen at the end is just so cliche... and in a way would just be a big middle finger to NH. not that NH had a chance to begin with though.
