"Just the editor"? I think people tend to underestimate their roles. All that I know is that Naruto was great when a certain editor was onboard and slowly decscended into kitten after he was promoted. If he was the one who kept Kishi on track he deserves fan mail. He deserves a thank you page!

And that would the biggest BS ever , Sasuke should never be given a team of genins to lead given his track record . Its so freaking ironic to see him teaching kids about teamwork , morals  and what not when he kittented on all of it    . He was a freaking terrorist and batsh*t crazy JFC WTF is he gonna teach them  How to kill your teammates !?   . His moral compass is broken as kitten and he's always been self centered and selfish  what sane parent would put his kid under his tutelage !?  . 

 

Also you would think that as the MC and "hero" of his own story Naruto should get that privilege , but then again I forgot that his only purpose in his freaking manga is to bring the real hero and MC  Sasky Kwoon    . It all makes sens now .  

Naruto's just the Hokage, he can't even spend time with Bolt so I don't see how he would be something as insignificant as a Sensei.

Naruto is pretty much the play. All around bad. But the effect (art) were decent.

Hey Minato and Sarutobi were also "The Hokage" , Tobirama to but they still had pupils  . And we know that he can't do that bc Kikitten kittented on it LOL . At least Naruto should have followed Minato's path and surpass him like it was foreshadowed *sign* .

41,440 sales. From the way SS fans were saying that the novel was sold out in most places in Japan, I assumed it would sell alot more than the Kakashi Novel.....however, it's the least sold so far

 

First Week for each novel:

Kakashi hiden - 60,611

Shikamaru Hiden - 51,752

Sakura Hiden - 41,440

 

.....but I'm liking this trend....lol.

So...

If you were to borrow 3 concept/design, which male characters would you take and why? Same for female, so 3 for male and 3 for female.

I'd pick : 

for the males: Minato...because...  well..it's Minato. 

                      Gaara/Kakashi I think their design are really original: make us wonder what Kakashi does really look like under his mask, plus, it is interesting to see all kind of emotions expressed through one single eye ! 

                      Shikamaru a really simple design but that matches his personality, plus Shika, imo, is one of the most interesting characters of the series, I would easily say that, just like Jiraya, he's my favorite male character. 

 

for the females: 

                    Konan what to say about the only female member of the akatsuki...she was simply...gorgeous. It's too bad she died that quickly...but it's rather that or character assassination... Plus she's a female character, and we all know how Kishi treats them. 

                    Kushina/Sakura  I just..love their simplicity. 

                    Tenten I always thought that her tomboyish-traditional style was really great.

Just got it done with the podcast and it was well-said about the series itself. It has been the lost cause everytime it seems it was going to the right path but it kept missing. The pairing talk is true as well. If NH/SS win, good, but that's not the point. It's the content/context of it that really effect the series. Everything was thrown out just to reach to that goal. If everything was equal, then fine, I don't have anything to complain. But now, I do and it's not even about my personal preference. It's the story preference that isn't consistent. So, what was the point.
