Open ending would've been OK without all the foreshadowing.

Oh! My apologies for an off-topic post @Sushi
That wasn't what I meant. As long as it's NS, it's on-topic. I thought it was weird how Hinata's inability to save Naruto proves that she isn't suited as his wife. I disagreed with the argument, and you weren't the only one commenting on it.

If your afraid of an open ending why dont you tell me a possible way for kishi to make that happen without asspulling and leavin plotholes?
That's what his brother did

It does seem to be that way.LOL Disney old school love XD. But I doubt whether it is really love or admiration. The chances of later being the most!
Lol yeah, old school love. Just look and bam, you're together. That or even old school anime love. Well, at least Shounen universe. It seems like more and more series are taking their time to showcase it, even if it's just battle manga. I didn't notice that late 90s was all about violence and insane over the top disgusting in a good way, but there you go.

Is the manga of kishis brother in any way comparable in romance story buildup or themes?

Yeah pretty much. You can go read 666 Satan and decide for yourself, since whether or not it was on par with NaruSaku is debatable and to be fair he was forced to rush the ending.

So in the end just because kishis brother had an open ending in a canceled 76 chapter manga is no argument for an open ending in naruto!

It got canceled. There are manga that feels like it was going somewhere but cancelation makes you drop many ideas.
I wonder how long it would of lasted if it didn't get cancelled?

Who knows. It always upset to see something never going to its potential because of this or that.

Well, I'm not familiar with his brother's manga, but Kishimoto is not his brother. If Kishi did decide to go with an open ending, which I personally think is unlikely in this case, I don't see why it would such a huge deal. Yes, I know, people will be upset and feel cheated, but it's fiction and really not worth worrying and agonizing over. What happens, happens. I've already experienced a much loved pairing not becoming canon, so I can personally say it's not the end of the world and it doesn't have to destroy all previous development.
And this assertion that some have made that an open ending would make Kishi a "terrible writer" is ridiculous. Basically, if the pairing we want doesn't happen because (insert reason here) then anything Kishi wrote becomes worthless. As a writer I find this mindset petty and short-sighted and horribly insulting.
