Apparently some nh fans think the final volume of naruto sold up to one million for week. Therefore its considered to be a major success can someone debunk this argument? 

It made up to 870,000. So no. Want to see actual million? Check out One Piece very soon.

It made up to 870,000. So no. Want to see actual million? Check out One Piece very soon.

 

I still maintain that comparing Naruto to the highest grossing manga series in Japan is not the best comparison. Were it garnering a sales amount that didn't reach even the top 10, I would agree, but as it stands a top 3 position is good.

Well sure. Just that have it been before the days of reckoning, war arc or maybe before, the sale could have been higher than today. I wouldn't go say 2 million. I would say maybe 1.4 million.

Well, SJ does have other series you know. I don't think they can ignore them. If anything, I'll probably buy it and rip the spin-off pages off.

 

It would be better if they take a break from anything related to SJ until the mini maga serious concludes and purchase the volumes to make up for the lost of time. it's not as if their lives depend upon reading each chapter per week. That way, they don't give Kishi money. That's what I would do if i were in their shoes.

Assassination Classroom live action movie (that was quick, I know) passed 2 billion yen in 3 weeks. Did I miss something? It passed The Last quick. Even the multiplier is high.

Wow volume 72 the sales rate dropped to 874,120 but volume 71 made up to 1,013,525 that proves how many fans kishi alienated.

Well to be fair, it was hype that helped 72. It's normal. It happened to FMA, that got a million in a week. Maybe if Naruto was like before, it could have gotten a million easily. Back then it used to sell like over a million each after 2 weeks, which is good. Now, well, you saw 71. It took that long to hit over a million.

Yup and volume 71 despite it being the kaguya fight, it was still good as it gave a send off to Obito and putting end to kaguya as well as having some developments for characters.
