Kill me now please  Why wasn't she mad like this at Sasuke when he ignored and insulted her it was x 100 times worse  but yeah lets pity the obsessive stalker and make this like a one fangirl to another   and make Naruto the ultimate  jerk  and Hinata Hime the kittening love martyr  , Naruto and Sakura's  characters/canon feelings/bond doesn't matter so lets destroy NS even more  only Hinakittens Sama feelings matter        .

I just can't see that this won't hurt both the studio and Kishimoto in the long run. If this movie tells people that events that occurred within the manga are superfluous, then why should new readers check out the manga in the first place? The movie is essentially saying that the story that the movie is based off of doesn't matter, but then you need to have that story in order to 'get' the movie if you are unfamiliar with the Naruto story to begin with. It's a mess.

It will hurt them more than they think if this isn't an illusion or dream. And I'm not saying this because oh no my pairing didn't happen/ Please God let it happen. It's because of what it tells us that the story is based upon doesn't matter. Because the only thing it takes from it are the names of the characters and nothing else.

Word will spread as well to people who aren't fans, and that could very well turn them off of investigating the series. As you and many others say, this isn't even about the pairings. This is about the integrity of the story as a literary piece, regardless of format.

EXACTLY. Naruto could've moved on while still having genuinely loved Sakura but SP and Kikitten couldn't do that. They had to destroy ALL love between them. What a bunch of insecure bitter losers.

Why anxiety? Seems like most of the people here are already sure this movie will be nothing but retcons. I'm not worried because if NS happens then I'll be happy, and if it doesn't we just say the movie doesn't exist and move on. It's that simple and I don't want to be bashing Kishi and SP forever since we've been mainly doing that for the past month, though to be fair I have bashed them too. I'd hate for this place be negative indefinitely.

Kishi tried so hard to make soulmate pairing to the point of laughable.
He should learn it from CLAMP who are very notorious in their soulmate rule.
And that doesn't stop them to pair syaoran and sakura.

One thing I forgot to mention the ratings for the anime are going to drop as well. Because no one that still watches the anime will continue if it ends with "Well ladies and gentlemen remember everything you saw thus far, well forget it because it doesn't matter anymore, erase it from your memories. Now go and watch part 3 of the anime because that's what actually matters".

You would think it's easy to reject Naruto and just have a sad lesson for him, despite the fact it killed the theme and subplot. But nope, it killed the theme, subplot, characters, and even the whole story.

But here is the thing, the naruhina fans could and would never accept that Naruto loved someone before Hinata, it would ruin their fairy tale romance and make Hinata look like the rebound girl or second medal only because Naruto couldn't have Sakura. SO in order to make naruhina credible they have to destroy the naruto/sakura bond and make Naruto's love for sakura seem non-existant and in the process destory Narutos character by having him contradict his actions throughout the manga which showed how much he loved Sakura, despite knowing she loved sasuke, and they have to say that he only loved sakura because of rivalry reasons, and its very contradicting because Narutos love for sakura was always shown as selfless and now it has been turned into something ugly. And all of this has to happen just so Naruhina could be canon and make sense. Of course Naruhina will not care because at the end of it all it doesn't matter, as long as they are canon.

SyaoranxSakura is my first OTP ever! I still love them to death and CCS is my favorite Shoujo Manga!
