I think you misinterpreted her panel. Even though Ino still has feelings for Sasuke she's aware that it's not a good thing, and something that she will need to overcome. That was pretty clear when she sarcastically referred to her feelings for Sasuke as "positive love".

I think that at the very least if there's some epilogue we'll see how Ino finally moved on from Sasuke and towards whichever guy she chooses now. Maybe Chouji.

I would like to see her with Chouji by the end of the series. I think that would be a great development for her character, going from chasing after cool guys like Sasuke, (and practically developing an eating disorder to impress him ), to falling for a guy that's larger and a lot more humble.

I would like to see her with Chouji by the end of the series. I think that would be a great development for her character, going from chasing after cool guys like Sasuke, (and practically developing an eating disorder to impress him ), to falling for a guy that's larger and a lot more humble.

I don't think anyone on Team 10 will end up with one another. I feel that Shikamaru, Ino, and Chouji are meant to become the next heads of their respective clans and raise heirs who will then make up the next InoShikaCho trio (with a Sarutobi such as Konohamaru as their sensei).

When statements like these get thrown around, can we honestly consider ourselves any better than the fans of opposing pairings?

In soraandven's defense, (regarding the obvious bash on VJ), he is fairly new to the site and I'm not sure he's completely familiar with the rules here on H&E.

I'm not trying to excuse the fact that he bashed VJ, and you're right, it doesn't make our fandom look any better when we go around claiming that the other shippers have mental problems. I just want to make sure that everyone is aware that he's new and probably is unaware that we have rules against that sort of thing on this site.

Don't sweat it! I'm actually glad that you pointed it out. We shouldn't let those kinds of comments slide under our radar. As you said, it doesn't make us any better than they are.

I just felt the need to defend sora a bit since I know him personally.

Yes, but he is relatively new. He just registered a month ago. My point was that he isn't all too familiar with the rules on H&E. I've given him a rundown about some of the rules over Skype just now, which he told me he was not aware of, so he should be fine going forward.

That does make sense actually. And considering that it goes back to 15 generations I don't see them breaking tradition.

Then again Kishi could make another clan member have a kid to fill the other spot, we'll see in the end. At the very least I hope to see a happy ending for Chouji, after all that talk about not being sure if a girl would want to marry him we have to see it come to fruition.

If there's one point in time when I almost quit the series, it would be during this Kage Summit reunion. Here, Sakura puts herself into a damsel in distress role not once, oh no, but twice.
First time, when Kakashi has to save her, I can forgive. Second time? Just when Sakura seems to have finally made up her resolve and become willing to kill Sasuke, she freezes on the damn spot and almost gets herself killed again, and depends on Naruto to save her. Seriously? Do you need Kakashi and Naruto looking after you 24/7 just to make sure you don't do something stupid to get yourself killed? Heroine moment my ass.

-edit-I love Sakura, I truly do. But this moment just pisses me off so much...

Blame Kishi for sucking at writing heroines or being sexist, not whatever I choose as my sig. But anyways, not the best Sakura moment but you had to know that she was going to have a hard time killing him. It pisses me off too, but thats how Kishi wants it for some reason. Hopefully it he writes a stronger role for Sakura in the future, but until she gets over Sasuke, this is going to be complicated.

Now as for that scene, I agree with you but the thing is that until Sakura gets over her feelings which she probably will, she is going to be weak when it comes to Sasuke.
