You called?
- L'inguaribile ottimismo di un dodo.
Hungry for glory - AS Roma 1927
But they were all of them deceived, for another canon was made. In the land of Japan, in the fires of Studio Pierrot, the dark Lord Kishimoto forged in secret a master canon, to control all others, and into this canon, he poured his cruelty, his malice, and his will to dominate all life. One canon to rule them all.

Lys is going to bed now. She's tired and won't be able to fight crime in the morrow if she doesn't sleep. Be prepared, sidekick, for tomorrow we fight.

And if he read the Manga, He would like Sakura's development until 699-700 and criticize Kishi's final chapters.Agreed, especially if you follow him and his work.

All fanart would be by definition, copyright infringement. The entire Pixiv website is technically breaking copyright laws. But in Japan, most mangaka allow doujinshi, even if the fanartists are earning money from it, as it is a) considered to be free promotion, and b) there is a culture behind it. For example, CLAMP (famous for Card Captor Sakura) started off as a doujinshi group.
From what I understand, it doesn't matter whether money or seeking payment is involved or not. Just the mere creation of a work using a certain percentage of the named characters, places and development of the original work is enough to warrant copyright infringement.
I love my fanfics, but I am under no illusions that what I write isn't infringing on Naruto's copyright, even if it's just a little. Now, they can't remove it without a court order, and I could easily change the names and characters to be something different (as it is it's almost entirely different anyway) and preserve it online. But riffing off of the original is copyright infringement, no matter how innocent the intentions are.
The copyright holders can request her to take her work down, and she has to comply. Or face some serious penalties. And requests like these are becoming more and more commonplace.
I don't know why the movie would be altered, maybe to censor it so it's more suitable for younger children? They're not going to remove Sakura for Hinata.Uh can somebody tell me why a [Apparently] modified version of Road to Ninja is being released in Japan next January?
I also read at some forum that a poster depicting Naruto and Sakura sitting under a cherry-blossom tree's going to be released soon. But, err, why?

There was a picture of Naruto and Sasuke sleeping next to each other under an autumn tree, and another one with Orochimaru's wet tongue around a smiling Sasuke. It doesn't mean the movie is going to show us narusaku at all.
Sasuke wasn't smiling in that cover art. His arms were extended outward beyond the frames of the panel with his eyes closed and a frown depressing his features. The posturing gives an impression of solemn acceptance, not enjoyment.
That panel was likely intended to make reference to what he mentioned to Naruto about the extreme measures he was willing to use by offering his body up (and, by his own admittance, his soul and afterlife) to Orochimaru if it increased the odds of successfully carrying out his revenge against Itachi.

In a word, yes. All fanart is infringement. Some authors/creators are more tolerant than others. Some of the corporations which hold the rights to the creative work are more tolerant than others.
As for Japan, I don't disagree that there isn't in a culture behind it. Just that Japan has a much more tolerant take on it than the west, having had a history of doujinshis as a support work for an original work.
But what's happening here — the removal of an alternative ending that undermines the retcon they're tring to pass off on moviegoers — is part of a modern marketing machine that is working tirelessly to promote this farce of a movie. It goes against exactly what you are saying about a culture of friendly and free promotion and instead goes straight for the money.
Certainly there might be an error with the file and this all might be nothing. But if it has forceably been removed, either by Pixiv or by LadyGT, then the blame is squarely on the marketing dept. throwing their weight around in a way they haven't done as of yet. And it points to them knowing what a stinker of a movie this is!!

To clear up some things: I t appears that LadyGt simply pressed the wrong button. She basically deleted it herself unintentionally. Lol. Some members in here cleared it up for us.
