I wonder was narrator's phrase "...sure Naruto will be..." planned to say by SP or was told unintentionally. You know, if the second, then I'm not surprised by all this NH hypestorm SP created. Maybe so they try to distract everyone's attention from narrator's words which revealed true pairing.

And even if it the first case, they also might give us small hint on the true pairing (NS), and then just pull out the dozens of hints on the fake pairing (NH) to confuse everyone.

I see it as a movie main character than heroine. Anyway, nothing new.

Anyway, just because Hinata has been featured, it doesn't mean she's going have any more of a role than anyone else on that team. SP did the same thing for RTN, they hyped her up, and then she wasn't all that big.

First of all, they hyped a Tsukiyomi!Hinata that time. And despite her minor role, it was her alter self (and Sasuke) who was turning heads.

Hinata's little sister has been kidnapped, it guarantees her a big role in the movie.

SP was not in charge of making the game. And the original Japanese team with Naruto and Hinata was called "Secret Lovers" thanks to a translation screw-up. The original Japanese supposedly called them "Secret Loves", in the sense that Hinata and Naruto both have people the secretly like.

Arguing pairings based on their "star billing" is flawed because it can change so easily.

I agree. We never saw much of what she was capable of in the manga. The only tidbit of information which we have about her is that she was stronger than her older sister at the age of 5. There hasn't been any updates as to her status in the clan and whether or not she's still intended to become the heiress.

They can overshadow Princess Queen of Queens Goddess Hinata-hime-sama.

Hanabi got kidnapped and pretty much explain why Hinata is like that.

There's something off about this entire set-up. Hanabi has been captured by an unknown party that has the tools, cunning, and strength necessary to get around the horde of clan members living at their complex, yet there's just a small contingent of men and women sent to retrieve her. The Hyuga clan should be up in arms about the danger that this breach in their security could pose to their biological heritages and the secrets of their clan.

Isn't Hiashi scared out of his wits about what might happen to his daughter? Why is he entrusting the safety of his child to Hinata instead of venturing out himself to save her? From a pragmatist's viewpoint, it doesn't make sense.

But, I'm actually kinda looking forward to a solemn Hinata who doesn't say "Naruto-kun" every 5 seconds. Would actually make her character a bit more tolerable. There's a bit too much Hinata-hating going at the moment.
