Ahaha. I gave up on the movie, yes. Though I am sure there will be an NS confirmation in it. But I am not sure I want to sit through 2 hours of filler-like Hinata development to get a 2 minutes scene of NS in the end.

 

imho, you are a bit overacting... Don't forget there is also Sakura with them... Wait, so Sakura and Hinata are the only females of the team....mmmh, interesting. love triangle confirmed LOL

I think I will be upset that my Queen (Hinata) story will be done in a movie, which is ironic because they once said if NS becomes canon in the movie, they will say it's only a movie. Now a story that involves her is only in the movie. Irony just won't cut it to describe this magnitude.

I'm just grateful he's going to do something with the Hyuugas. And it's going to be even better if NH is already shot down in that timeline.

i find how ironic is that the last movie will be about hyuuga arc when kishi barely developed them in 15 years of serializatiton and 700 chapters.

I don't know why people are celebrating. I think today is the black day for all NS fans and Sakura-supporters. The cloud of 2 hours of Hinata x Naruto footage (though not leading to NH canon) is approaching.

You do realize that Naruto and Hinata are on a team of people, right, and that it's not just them? If it was, you might have a bone to pick.

I will accept NH canon if it is confirmed in the movie (though it will happen only if alliens mess with the drawings and change pink hair into black in all the scenes). After all no fillers went so far as to confirm an actual end game pairing. If it happens, it would certainly mean Kishimoto had something to do with it.

OK guys and girls I jumped ship yet again. After this new information I decided that the best ship is NH. Yeah you read that correctly NH.

On a serious note. This movie does seem like it's a filler. It has that filler vibe about it.

I can already picture the NH scene, Hinata has a moment with Naruto where they're all alone. She tells him how Hanabi's kidnapping brought them together only to end with Naruto telling her once and for all that there's nothing between the two of them. It's just her. Maybe even telling her how fixated she is and how she completely ignores everyone else.

I'm telling you guys the movie will have a rejection scene with Naruto and Hinata.

Honestly, I'd rather it has something to do with the actual story than a filler. I usually despise fillers, although there are fan services. So, I would want the movie to be the Last of Naruto, like seriously the last. No fillers, no useless scenes, but good and relevant situations and story.

Well they seem like they're treating this as FMA Brotherhood episode 1, which I wouldn't be happy if I wanted a Hyuuga focus.

And there is also some answering from Kishi's assistant on his Twitter account, he says that as Kishi said in an interview in 2010 (I think) Sakura's not a heroine and that Naruto hasn't chased after her since Pain Arc. But that's just his opinion.

I do realize that in all the previous movies of Naruto Shippuuden there were always several characters announced as part of the main cast, but they got just a couple of minor interactions (plain and boring) and short battle moments (nice animation, but hardly anything new).  They really looked like background in full sense. Characters playing the role of background by the rules of fanservice. Even PURE OOCness NEVER stopped SP.

I've never seen a believable Sakura in these movies. Not once. I am not even daring to say anything about developing her character further, showing some new sides of her. Even RtN decided to degrade her to her Part 1 self. Well, she might have seen a new side of Naruto when she saw him with his parents, so maybe this is a little exсeption.

There was Naruto, his main rescue interest and the main bad guy. Just them.

The only good thing about the plot is the fact that NaruHina won't happen, other than that I'm disappointed that it will be hinata centered.
