But it would also make sense too cause since Kabuto has found his true self, would he try to make amends to some of the things he has done like making Yamato end up that way?? Makes for an interesting plot point lol X)

Obito lives another volume. I can't believe the idea of parallel is still possible. I mean yes, I wrote a post that it can happen at anytime, not necessarily during Obito's fight, but still. Well, we'll see.
But first we have to see if Gai will die or not

Yes, or I would like to call it pairing fans cooldown time. Still, I am interested as a general fan, so I'm curious how it looks and the end result. But first we have to see if Gai will die or not

I wonder if the forehead compliment will ever be addressed
I mean yeah Sakura never thought about it but only because it was never relevant for all we know that could be the moment she did fall in love with Sasuke (even though it was Naruto) it would resolve everything if Kishi brings it back up and Sakura finds out it was in fact Naruto
Besides I always thought that if Naruto and Sakura do end up together she atleast needs to be aware of the time he nearly tricked her. Then again who knows maybe Kishi just forgot about it and or doesn't care

^^The only thing I can say is that it's not far fetched. It's not out of the realm of possibility. You can say for other series, depending on how it's written or intentions from authors, but in here, closure is the name of the game.
That's true
Kishi did say he was going to end the series conclusively but that doesn't necessarily mean it will get addressed again.

Which is why I didn't say "guaranteed."That's true

Why do I keep hearing arguments that Naruto was joking about Sakura's confession in 631 and his comment about Sakura's strength in 632 confirms that? There was even a person that gave a translation from the RAW and came to the conclusion that he was likely referring to the confession. I don't know if they have any credibility or if it's just desperate people grasping at straws.

Reposting something I've posted twice before. Unfortunately the old threads are locked so I can't repost it properly....
This is what Naruto looks like when he's joking / not serious / lying about his relationship with Sakura. You can tell he's lying not only by his words but by his expression and posture as well. There's always some kind of "tell" when he's joking. He's got a cheesy smile, or he's doing something completely outrageous, or he's sneaking around, or he's generally being a doofus.
Then there's #631....
We get a significantly different expression and response from Naruto. He is as sober as a judge here. The look on his face is serious. The words he uses are serious. There's no hint of joking whatsoever. HE IS NOT JOKING.
I can understand why anti-NS folks would want to downplay this moment as a joke or something casual, but I can't understand why any NS fan would say he is joking here when he clearly is not. He's not even smiling, for crying out loud!
The comment Naruto made in #632 -- "I'll never, never turn on Sakura-chan again... she'll pulverize me...." or "Ne-never again... I can't ever poke fun of Sakura-chan again... otherwise she'll turn me into a stain...." (depending on the translation) -- WAS a joke. You can tell by the "lady lips" caricature of his face and the overall silliness. He's referring to all the stupid jokey crap he's done over the years to get a rise out of her -- the Oiroke no Jutsu, teasing her about being strong, etc. -- NOT his feelings for her.
Remember his reaction in #469? How he told Sakura -- twice -- that joking about something like loving him or choosing him over Sasuke wasn't funny? Right. But we're supposed to believe he turned around and "joked" about Sakura being his girlfriend to his father? Please.
As far as I'm concerned, trying to link the obvious joke in #632 to Naruto's answer to his father in #631 is either willful blindness or a desperate attempt to invalidate Naruto's declared feelings for Sakura.

I love it
Naruto outright saying that he considers Sakura his girlfriend "HE HAS TO PROVE IT HE WAS JOKING OMG OMG OMG"
Sakura merely thinking about Sasuke with no internal thoughts. "IN LOVE WITH SASUKE IN LOVE WITH SASUKE!'
GTFO with that dumb ass kitten

Eh... I didn't mean to say people here were grasping at straws, just those other people. Sorry about that.

naruto isn't the kind of person who would joke about sakura's confession which was a serious incident between the two of them.
naruto had the same kind of expression and thoughts when sakura first unleashed her monster strength, so his comical reaction in 632 was only in response to her even bigger monster strength, not 'his joke on her joke of a confession'
