Personally I'm getting really excited about re I haven't really said it, but lately I've felt like it's been slow for a few weeks at least until this recent chapter came out. So the operation begins with Chapter 19 and my theory is that somehow Sasaki and Ayato are confront one another in this auction day, it might be next chapter (maybe like the final page) and maybe Chapter 20 or 21 depending on how long this auction day arc lasts I believe that it's going to trigger a memory for Sasaki and maybe Ayato will mention Hinami towards Sasaki (I don't think Ayato knows that Hinami is like a sister to Sasaki/Kaneki unless somehow it slipt my mind). Also some craziness is going to take place as what Suzayu caused in this chapter.

That's what you call setup chapters XD I felt the same way, too. It was slow, but at least all the setup raised the tension up to this moment. In Boku no Hero, we basically get nonstop action. I think many of us are growing impatient b/c we want to move faster and see Touka, Amon, Hide (I believe he is alive- no one tell me otherwise), and most importantly Kaneki himself.

That's what you call setup chapters XD I felt the same way, too. It was slow, but at least all the setup raised the tension up to this moment. Unlike Boku no Hero, we basically get nonstop action. We didn't had this problem with TG because it was all there for us to read it  , but actually, compared to the beginning of TG, :RE is a lot more centered in action

That's true. While I did enjoy the first 50 chapters of TG, I think you've noticed how many are simply "dragging" themselves to get to the past fifty chapters.

I agree. That's why I stopped reading it at chapter 13. I finally caught up though. But I was really bored with the new team. TG is one of those stories that needs time to build up.

I was increasingly bored throughout the first 50 chapters of Tokyo Ghoul. I didn't understand why people were so hyped about it. But after kaneki went white, everything was brilliant from that point on. I did stop reading Re for a while though cause I was bored.

I was increasingly bored throughout the first 50 chapters of Tokyo Ghoul. I didn't understand why people were so hyped about it. But after kaneki went white, everything was brilliant from that point on. I did stop reading Re for a while though cause I was bored.

Lol, :re, yeah it was boring a bit, but I dunno how seinen mangas work. Maybe it's b/c of the more mature audience that you don't constantly have to feed the readers action scene and revelations one after the other. You should know better though b/c you've read a lot of seinen before.

We were given a lot of crucial info in the past few chapters though. I personally think that the history about the CCG was very interesting.

I'm not gonna deny that XD But the stuff we are reading about the CCG I deem to be just as important. I think the CCG will get interesting when we find out what they did with a) Kaneki and b) Arata.

Seinen mangas work just like shounens somewhat. The story is just handled more maturely, I know that Tokyo Ghoul is a seinen manga but it still feels like a shounen. It doesn't give me that "seinen" feel I'm used too. If anything, I equate it with Attack on Titan (which is supposed to be a horror but still feels shounen).

Seinen mangas work just like shounens somewhat. The story is just handled more maturely, I know that Tokyo Ghoul is a seinen manga but it still feels like a shounen. It doesn't give me that "seinen" feel I'm used too. If anything, I equate it with Attack on Titan (which is supposed to be a horror but still feels shounen).

I don't hate her, but she's not the type of lady I like for some reason. She is too businesslike for me sometimes. I like her interactions with Amon though.
