*shrug* that's what I've been hearing when people are saying how badly it has dropped since the ending. i don't know where to actually find accurate information so I'm going of what I've heard several people say.

You could always check the old Japan animation rankings on places like animenews network to clear things up. Pretty sure I remember Naruto still being in the top ten last year, but I could be mistaken.

On the contrary I think it was a blessing, I can't imagine how much they would have been trashed if Kishi decided to "develop" them.

animenews network makes weekly posts of the top 10 japanese annimations by household ratings.
They've been doing these weekly posts for more than 3 years and I'll tell you that Naruto shippuden is almost never on that list every week.

The only time you'll see shippuden on the list is if Pokemon, One Piece and DBZ kai (or Shawn the sheep lol ) all didn't air episodes during that given week
