At NF some fan made a thread based on Chie's interview comment "Naruto and Sakura's bond is stronger than that of husband and wife". The SS and NH were fighting whether it includes SS or not. Well it was a group of SS vs one NH so it was quite one-sided.

SS will obviously agree because it's their favorite Chie speaking and NH called Chie "retarded".

It is great you should check it out, its confusing though but it ties up in the end 

The Story could've been expanded on I.e. exploring other clans that got no focus In this series, history of other villages etc

There were so many different ways to keep the story engaging without heavily needing to resort to romance

True but I think Kishi ruined that chance a long time ago, though maybe he can still focus on those.

Considering Orochimaru, Kabuto, and Taka are in there, i'm sure it wont go to GT levels, maybe some missing plot points will get resolved

P 3 will obviously be about Ninjas changing their profession and turning into Professional Cooks  Master Chefs . 

 

The main dish will obviously be  Burito and The Salad spiced up with some Sauce and maybe Ramen    .

Is it merely coincidence that they're falling back on Orochimaru and Kabuto to exploit as an unresolved source of conflict for these bastards? They're unable to create any new compelling antagonists for this "new generation" to challenge so the only remaining option is to pit them against people from a separate era whom they have no relation to besides some blood which they happen to share with the people who they were originally after.

Thing is Toriyama is a genius and he progressed the story masterfully thorough the generations, rectifying at some point that there cannot be another protagonist other than Goku (i.e. when gohan took the spotlight with cell), Kishimoto on the other hand basically burned all the meat with teenager Naruto, so yea, he is basically beating a dead horse. 

There should not be more Naturo but probably his fear to try new thing and completely fail is high or with mere moderate combined with pressure to keep exploiting, milking it to the death."

I just wish they would all shut up. The ending sucked. The pairings were poorly developed. The movie was crap. The spin-off is going to be crap. Just shut up and let the people be who want to leave the fandom. Quit trying to justify the ending. Those who buy the spin were already sold by the garbage they were fed in November. 

In this case I do believe they actually managed to piss off the NH and SS fans too. Which actually puts them at risk of losing more people.

Whether they're purposely trying to sink what's left of the series or not, I say let em. The faster Boruto dies as a series the better.

You'd think if they were forced then they would talk nicely about NH as well-- after all isnt that the ship that's supposed to be above all else?

 

The Sakura hiden novel just came out so this interview was probably planned to help sell it or in reaction to a large number of people canceling their pre orders. So they were sent out with a script that praised SS. They probably weren't told to praise nH as well so they are giving their honest opinion of that one. They don't like it and they feel Sakura and Naruto still have a stronger bond than Naruto has with Hinata.

They should focus on the part of the fanbase they kept because there's no chance for those who left to come back, even if we put pairings aside the ending is a big fat joke.

There's more basis for Griffith-Casca (pre eclipse of course) than there has ever been for SS.

The problem is that before the crap of the ending even when the anime lost any quality it had it still was always able to be in the top 7 tv shows for Japan. Once the ending happened 60% or so left immediately with most remaining saying they are only going to watch till the cpr scene then leave. So they are no longer even in the top 20 show according to what some people are saying. That is a huge amount of money they have lost and after the flop that is The Last they need as much money as they can to stay afloat. So they are desperate to bring back that fanbase they lost but they won't change the thing that is the reason people left. The ending.

I thought they were resolved before the bloody ending? Stupid backtracking.
