I agree, seriously, we know love is important to Kishimoto since he became a father, but to go as far as to make a whole movie about love. No that's not what the last movie of such an important shonen should be like. I don't know, you would expect a movie about NaruSasu bond, or a real connection to chapter 700 but not that. Who cares about NH love story except NH hardcore fans? I say hardcore because even normal NH fans are upset by this movie. A real shonen movie should be about action first and within it a subplot about NH. Not the other way around. 

As far as I've seen reactions, every fans, rather pairing fans or neutral fans, are disappointed except hardcore NH fans.

I agree the love subplot was always supposed to be resolved in the manga, and we didn't like how it happened but to go as far to make an entire movie about NH is a really stupid move on their part. It's not just the pairing that upsets me, because I'm sure a majority of people wouldn't like an entire love movie devoted to NS if it was canon either. Though to be honest that would be better than a NH love story since their relationship is a lot stronger in my eyes. However this is a shonen manga first and foremost. I'm going to try to forget this movie exists.

Are they even going to give her a power-up. Just goes to show you what bullsh** it is that they need to do this all in a movie instead of the manga. Asspulls everywhere!

 

Not offense, but just as I like Sakura even I admit that her Byakugo/Yin Seal came from nowhere too. Naruto and Sasuke were at least shown training and foreshadowing that they will have new techniques, but Sakura never hinted that she will have Tsunade's Byakugo No Jutsu (infact, it was supposed to be like Susanoo and Mokuton - character exclusive skills), infact, since she was beated up by fodders like Omoi, needed to be saved in every 3th chapter and was sitting and crying after Pain's Shinra Tensei it was really felt like a "oh, wait, I forgot that Sakura is a main character too, I shall give her a power up even if it is an asspull". But hey, since chapter 448 everything in Naruto is a huge asspull storm, so why are you surprised?

Well december 6th soon here and it not looking good for NS, I am leaving all my hatred towards kishi bottle up inside till the movie release and if narusaku doesnt have a proper resolution in any where i dont care i cursing kishi. As for his assitant he needs bombarding with this page, no matter what they cant deny it.......why didnt naruto confess his love to her?

Though I have to admit that the fact they drastically changed Naruto's character and the fact that they so fu**ed up that movie makes it easier to accept NH, don't you think so? I think it would be harder if that movie was making NH canon in a correct way, that's to say, basing their relationship on the few intense moment they had like the chuunin exam, the confession and the handholding at Neji's death.

I have to say I understand NH fans frustration, it's may be not our Naruto and Sakura, but neither are they their Naruto or Hinata. To them, Naruto was building a romance in the manga and Hinata was a pure princess who loved Naruto with a pure love, while in this movie Naruto though Hinata loved him like ramen and is just discovering his feelings for her in the movie (out of the blue without any reason) and Hinata is a jealous chick who overreact to a simple scarf because she thinks it comes from a girl. 

I agree with the person who said he/she was glad NS is not canon if it has to be done this way.

In the manga he didn't really pay any attention to her, in the movie he puts her above Sasuke/Sakura. The first few people that reached out to him and became his friends.

l can't believe how much the Naruto-Sakura bond has been destroyed. An entire manga worth of feelings resolved through one line from Sakura implying he never really loved her but just saw her as away to one up Sasuke. What happend to Sakura being one of the persons who saved him from the hell of loneliness? What happend to all these scenes where he admired her strenght and her skills? What happend to the fact she saved his life and supported his dream? Why is this ignored? Are we meant to believe none of that meant anything, that it couldn't explain why he loved Sakura but his complete indifference towards Hinata foreshadowed him falling for her? This makes Naruto's character feel so empty and fake to me in hindsight and this is probably what l hate the most.

Seeing those new trailer is killing me... This is not the Naruto I know.. He loves Sakura for so long and in this movie he fell for her just for that? 15 years of Naruto loving Sakura vs. This retarded movie? Come on! And Japan will air the RTN on January? I don't think I can watch this movie here in the Philippines. And if I ever see some Movie poster here, I might puke! It's best that this movie is all about Team 7 vs villain! I want to see their team work again as adult and badass move. and ofcourse Naruto winning Sakura's heart! He's been longing for this! Not this kitten movie! Hinata, why you always getting in their way! Move your kittens somewhere else!!!!

It's like someone switched faces with Naruto like that Nicolas Cage movie "Face/Off." Only I bet if they made a movie about Naruto and Sasuke switching faces, I'd watch that then this kitten.

Because Naruto's love for Sakura is revealed to be just the byproduct of his rivalry with Sasuke. It was retconned out of existence.

Why were a bunch of Mangaka hanging around drugstores? Nah other mangakas would not do this kind of crap, A) Because they can't afford to lose their fanbase, unlike Kishi most Mangaka don't sell anywhere near as much, they are not about to sacrifice their livelihood to support a Mangaka who's already a Multi-millionnaire. B) They would have to actually end their manga to get this arsepull ending, which would bring back my first point. 

 

This just sounds like the infamous chinese whisper. It was probably something about Mangaka supporting Kishi on Twitter because they are all in the same field, many of them probably got into Manga because of Kishi so feel they need to support the person that inspired their career choice. and by the time it went through the grapvine it ended up as that. The same is likely for the Hinata merchandise flooding the market, it will probably take some shelf space because new movie means more sales for the stores. Another possability is about fans being worried that other Mangaka will look at the ending and think they will be fine doing the same half-arsed ending as well. Like the Mangakas for Dragonball and Yu Yu Hukusho were for Kishi, Kishi is now the inspiration for current and future Mangaka, and with that this ending becomes part of their inspiration bible. I can understand why fans would be worried.

 

Hinata is applying ointment on Naruto in the new trailer? Finally something that's canon, Hinata actually does make ointment that she gives to Naruto at the Chunin Exams, only Kish seems to have forgotten how the ointment was useless, his Uzumaki DNA and Kurama chakra pretty much meant he healed really quickly.

To make Hinata look better. Yes, it makes Naruto look terrible for using Sakura as nothing but an object for his rivalry with Sasuke, heck, it doesn't even make sense when you consider Naruto announcing he loved her before Team 7 was formed, and that almost every other girl was also in love with Sasuke. It downright contradicts the plot wherein Sakura epiphany Naruto understood her unrequited love, contrary to her misunderstanding back in chapter 3.

I'm not sure the manga even exists anymore.
