So now that this movie doesn't see to be about romance...

 

Does it mean Naruto and Sakura are going to hook up in the 2 or 3 chapters left ?

I don't know. That tease...But who knows. Though I guess SP being SP by showcasing all of those Naruto/Sakura poses/facial/etc. Um, unless Hinata doesn't get a lot of screentime, wouldn't it be nice if you show her along with Naruto in those expressions? Just saying.

This is not a negative post, because I don't see any threat to NS, but I am disappointed.

I am very disappointed. Believe me, I was happy yesterday, when I saw that CD cover, because it was the forshadowing of rejection and Hinata's closure for me. I argued that Hinata and Naruto have only two common grounds - Neiji's death and Hinata's love confession. But I thought that the picture didn't look like graveyard and that Naruto's face was far from reminiscing.

Now I get the news that the movie is about Huuga, which gives Naruto and Hinata another common ground - Hanabi (and it does explain the cover very well). And I am not glad to see them having more common ground. 

Movies about kidnapping always center around the person who was kidnapped and the person who comes to the rescue, but of course in this move the real person "in trouble" will be Hinata, because Hanabi is even more irrelevant to the manga story and there is absolutely no reason to develop her (she is not even in the poster!!!). We will see a lot of footage of Hinata worrying and promising to be strong (something she is best at, though usually with no active continuation). We will definetly see Naruto cheer her up constantly, say how strong she is and finally we will have a huge fight in which Hinata will suddenly show her full potential, make some amazing heroine move that will bring tears in everybody's eyes, she will stand by Naruto's side, be happy about it, then Naruto will go ahead to make his final move and she will support him mentally. All the while Sakura and the rest of the team will battle and defeat secondary villian subordinates. Afterwards we will see Naruto and Hinata smile at each other and move on with their lives, probably showing some kind of closure for Hinata and Naruto running towards Sakura or smth. Hinata will accept her love defeat, but will feel that she is a winner, because she achieved her dream and felt respect for herself.

 

Here we go. The LAST Naruto the movie - the last and most important canon movie meant to be the final accord of the series - will be centered on one secondary irrelevant character, NOT the heroine, as we see her get all the spotlight, development and "wish come true".

 

Because, guys, we've never noticed, but Hinata's story was the most important substory in the manga that defines the whole journey of 700 chapters.

 

This is such a dissapointment. I am not saying it will certainly go down this road, but it has repeatedly in previous movies and it is more or less a stereotypic plot.

I do hope they will make something special for the Last movie, but I do not believe it, because all the other movies were crap and this one already sounds like a filler.

And what do we, NS fans, get for all the years of nervous shipping? We get something rushed in the last couple chapters of the manga (already darkened by Sakura saying "Sasuke-kun" again) and then we get a Hinata movie with some NS in the shadow, in minor scene(s) even if confirmed.

 

Way to go. They made a RtN movie, focusing on Sakura (mostly bad qualities of her), thanks for that, then they make a Hinata movie, I guess that would be ok, IF ONLY IT WASN'T THE LAST GODDAMN NARUTO MOVIE, THE MOST IMPORTANT ONE, ARE YOU KIDDING MEEEEEEEEE?!?!

It is pretty funny, because Hinata's character basically  managed to earn just one place for herself due to her "development" - place of the filler heroine that doesn't expand beyond one movie. She will mostly start her development in the movie and end it with it.  Celebrate Hinata fans!  This will surely be her apex! At the same time it is THE movie, so the situation is awkward as hell.

 

I know NS will be confirmed, but I have no hopes to see Sakura a lot and see a serious movie that will be generous and equal for all the primary characters. I do believe that SP held the responsibility to make a movie that would bring out all the best that was in Naruto manga, Naruto's universe. I do believe that they had to focus on Team 7 and Naruto as an individual and as a revolutionary, because this is what manga was all about. There still is a lot to wrap up in the dinamics of the main four characters. There are a lot of questions about their future and about their happy endings that were promised to us. But insted we get Hinata's final development, because, I guess, it is THE thing that will give us all the sense of fulfillment  and closure.

By "hasn't really chased" he probably referred to Naruto's " how can I? I can't even keep my promises" scene.

Well that's true, Naruto never made a move after the Pein arc (except for the gf comment).

It didn't take me 30 minutes to have breakfast and go to the bathroom and that fake ass twitter is down for the count, this is like what the 6th or the 7th?

 

None of that twitter crap matters, especially if it's deleted shortly afterwards.

 

It was obvious from the start the message about Sasuke's feelings were straight out of SS bias book not to mention the whole plot is about familiar love.

 

We won't get any romance in this movie, it will all be wrapped up in the manga.

I find it strange that 700 chapters of Manga has single mention of Hamura/Byakugan's power, and we didn't even hear about Hanabi in the second season, and suddenly the movie puls of Hamura himself and stuff with Hanabi kidnaping. It sounds really like asspull and generic Naruto movie with kidnapping and random villain who even didnt show himself in the manga.

What funny that all naruto fans waiting for naruto confesses his real feelings to sakura (even if she rejects him  at least he trying ) after he is done with sasuke , then this will suddenly change to hinata , it's like this is not naruto character in NARUTO manga lol

bah... and about hanabi....sigh... a Hyuuga arc in the movie? Like I give a kitten. Even the villain seems to have the byakugan.

 

Naruto and Sasuke have both persevered through the most difficult trials that anyone can experience with Akatsuki, the Jubi, Madara, and Kaguya. They've reached a plateau of authority and wisdom about their world's beginnings that almost no one can equal (Orochimaru could get there one day.). No one can challenge them except another person who hails directly from the same source of power and conflict that began the legacy of the shinobi. Moreover, an entire half section of the Sage's family tree is shrouded in mystery. Kishi has his faults, but to forego the opportunity to expand on the bloodline of the Sage when their spotlight has come at the expense of longer lasting cast members and subplots? Hamura is the most logical choice in an opponent. And because the Hyuga are irrevocably tied to him, seeing just a slight improvement in their relevancy shouldn't come as a surprise. I just wish that there was a member of the Kaguya clan still alive that could act the part of representative for that branch of Hamura's line.   

 

I would like to see Sakura's brand of fighting pitted up against the Gentle Fist style - just to resolve that age old argument about which is the stronger form and whether her Byakugou is capable of reopening sealed tenketsu or not.

Me too. But even though, i really dount she will have a big role to play simply because she has no connection to the story unless she gets rejected on screen.

Hinatas cloths isnt a copy of sakuras, sakuras looks better. Keep in mind all of the girls are wearing boots, ino, tenten and hinata. Tenten and hinata are also wearing that belt around the waist.

Sakuras cloths looks the best! *-* Even naruto thinks the same!
