Now all the posters makes sens . The guy that kidnap Hanabi is probably Hamura and he did that bc he's in love with her bc she's the prodigy of the Hyuga  and that quote about first love  is for them   (jk). 

 

But seriously it makes somewhat sens now that main cover and the cover of Naruto and Hinata (her being sad/praying )and the song being about family bonds and friendship I guess this first love quote is about that not romance  . It seems now that story has shifted from Bromance to Sismance   I think I don't want to watch this filler movie anymore       .

 

I guess it makes sens for Naruto the Bro/Sismance messiah   to keep his promise and end the Hyuga dispute  once and for all  first it was Neji and now it will end with Hanabi   .

 

If we have a canon couple in the manga NS I guess this Hinata marketing and relevance in the  movie is just  to make the fans satisfied and  to bait them to watch the movie  , also this might be an intro only to the new era don't know if it will count as canon I suppose it will .But why give Hinata the same design as Sakura  .

From a Western perspective it's pretty disgusting (Sasuke's treatment of Sakura) But there's a pretty common trope, mostly in Shoujo, where a guy is straight up violent/abusive towards the female MC/love interest and their "love" ends up "saving" them in the end. I think that's where the SS ship comes from. (I've read some messed up shoujo. Guys strangling girls, beating them up, trying to light the girl on fire, and they end up with them in the end, etc...)

 

If the movie's about Hanabi  getting kidnapped then of course Hinata would have a bigger role. I don't think there's anything to worry about lol

I can understand why people wouldn't have NS as their chosen OTP. OR how they could prefer NH and SS. But the thing I don't understand is how they can still believe they are the most likely to happen.

 

It boggles my mind. :/

Well that's true, Naruto never made a move after the Pein arc (except for the gf comment).
