I have mad respect for parents who take in other people's kids and raise and love them as their own, but this Sakura thing is just ridiculous. kitten Karin and kitten Sasuke, don't even give Sakura any child support.

It's like Naruto being too broke to treat Hinata to a nice restaurant in that ministory. Or actually like the entire premise of the manga (the way Naruto was raised) or plenty of other stuff. Kishimoto doesn't care about internal logic and the coherence of his worldbuilding. What matters to him is whatever stupid idea he wants to push, if he needs legendary heroes (who by all means should live in Konoha without ever paying for anything) to be broke for the sake of a cute scene or more pointless melodrama, then logic be damned.

That's not what I meant. I didn't mean to critique her on raising Sarada- that I actually applaud. It's just that her being in a financial mess is implausible. If Sarada were to be her actual blood daughter, why did she have her at a time where she wasn't financially stable to take care of her? That's what I truly meant. I get the feeling that only because Sasuke was around, she hurried and bred with him. Besides, what ever happened to that children's hospital? 

 

Now this is to say that the Karin thing is a mislead, and that Sarada really is Sakura's biological child.

Do you think Sakura might be sick ? 

The frequent fainting? I could see a ret-con pregnancy. She conveniently forgets she met up with Sasuke on a mission 9 months ago.

 

Either that or she's caught Itachi's mysterious Uchiha illness. It will only pop up when necessary for the plot.

 

of course i'm sad. i've been rooting for sakura for more than a decade and i thought years ago that kishi had some big plan for her. little did i know it would turn out to be her becoming a single parent who dusts shelves, gets pregnant by the guy who trashes her, struggling financially, and now she looks to be suffering from some illness.

 

this goes way beyond character assassination. it's like sakura is receiving all of kishi's hatred for the series. am i suppose to believe that for one instance in this entire series he actually liked her character? this is just... ugh. 

 

Yes, it's become incredibly apparent that Kishimoto is making Sakura the scapegoat for all his dislike. He doesn't know how to unite readers behind his main character, so he's focusing instead on uniting readers to hate Sakura by trashing her life at every turn.

 

 

You never know, Kishimoto might kill her off at the end.  I'm not even joking.

 

You know, I wonder if he might. (Though I don't think he's brave enough to do it.) But I think in light of the ending, it would have been better if he had killed Sakura off instead of Neji. And I love Sakura as a character. But he's destroyed her so much, I would much rather see Naruto mourning her loss and naming children after her instead of forgetting all about her like he has in the manga.

That scene was odd, why did Sarada Hide as soon as she saw Naruto? It was like 'Oh sh*t he saw me let me hide' Even Sarada doesn't like Naruto. Also why did Shikamaru catch Boruto so Naruto's clone could stop looking for him? He's a f**king Clone let it spend time with his son, it's not like he'll run out of Chakra, he can literally make a few thousand.

 

Edit: I'm making random prediction, Hinata is dead. because Kishi didn't know how to write the two interacting.

 

Yes, that made no sense to me either. Why didn't Shikamaru let the clone play with him? As if that taxes Naruto at all? It was totally OOC for Shikamaru.

 

 

Kishimoto just keeps making Sakura into something more and more pitiful and degraded. Sad isn't even the word for it; I don't think I have a word for it. I can't begin to understand why he's writing her this way, unless he really, truly does hate her.

Yeah, I can't figure out if he really hates her, or if he's just really sexist and this is how he deals with problem of a self-empowered character.

 

Will Sasuke tries to kill her again when he figures that Sakura is wearing the Uchiha symbol?

I wondered about that - why does she have the Uchiha symbol on her house if he's been gone for 12 years. He didn't put it there, and if she's not living in the Uchiha compound (alone and where all those murders happened - yuck), then she must have. On the house and on their clothes. Weird.

 

So I read the chapter finally. And never thought i'd say this but Thank You Kishimoto for not giving NS this canon.
And again Never though i'd say this but Sakura dying a heroic death in the original series would have been preferable. I love my baby but Kishi hates her.

And wow like some of you can see the future. So many of you guessed that Kishi'll pull something like this.

And man was I wrong about everything. This is messed up.

Yeah it's nuts. I imagined the new series would be a Naruto/Hinata/children love fest. One of the kids would be kidnapped and then Naruto and Hinata would have to save him/her. Sasuke would feature as an itinerant teacher, and Sakura wouldn't be seen at all. Boy was I wrong!

 

So are we gonna talk about Naruto's emotions when it comes to Sasuke now? Like how he was completely okay with not seeing Sasuke for 12 f*cking years. After spending an entire manga searching for him.

Naruto is just there to be a foil for Sasuke. He doesn't get a say in anything. He's there to make sure Hinata is happy, and to fill in the blanks between Sasuke's scenes.

 

It makes sense , if it's true that Sakura is having financial issues. I mean the guy she's been infatuated with for a majority of her life, still doesn't give a shit about her, even with a daughter. So she has to raise a kid on her own, while working, and deal with the fact that she will never receive the love she's been desperate for for years.

That kind of stress can affect the body and make one sick.

But, what disgust me is the fact that, Kishi will more than likely excuse Sasuke for his neglect and ignore the suffering Sakura endured. People say she had it coming, but really it was clear she was interested in Naruto. But, just like Naruto, she was forced to abandon her development for someone who was never there for her.

Sakura has got to be the most tragic character ever.

 

So true - Sasuke will be seen as a hero for leaving, but Sakura will be seen as whiny or crying or nagging or demanding or any other unflattering term in her wanting him to stay and be a husband and a father. I used to think Konan was the most tragic character, but now I'm beginning to think it's Sakura.

 

Yeah it really pissed me off that Kishi made Naruto and Sakura focus so much on trying to bring him back, but in the end Sasuke is more absent than he was before that crappy "redemption."

 

YES!!!! This was the whole damn point of the manga! Sasuke, Sasuke, Sasuke!! And here we find he's bailed completely on the village. OMG, what the hell have we been reading all these years?!? Naruto and Sakura built their lives around Sasuke, and now this!! I mean, we all knew they were OOC, but this is like throwing it in the readers face that what Naruto and Sakura strived for, above all else, they did not achieve. They did not bring Sasuke home. 

 

So...they didn't get Sasuke. They didn't get the jobs/futures they wanted. They didn't get each other. They didn't get deep and lasting happiness in their lives by surpassing the previous generation. For Naruto and Sakura, a genjutsu would be a mercy at this point!

I'm not gonna lie, I actually quite like Sarada herself and I like her and Chou Chou together. Wish the story could just be about them, fixing the disaster of this story.

Honestly, while it might be applaudable for someone to raise another's child, it doesn't apply in this case. This sakura wouldn't be raising salad for anyone else other than herself. That was clearly established in the novel, when she "started a children's clinic" not for the kids, but for herself. This Sakura, unfortunately, would only raise this child as a way to keep close to Sasuke. It's harsh, but it's the truth. That's how shallow she's become since the ending. Ironically, it didn't bring her ably closer to Sasuke, as he stayed the kitten away from her for 13 years.

So yeah, even if it is Karin's kid, I damn sure would still be just as disgusted with Sakura.

Lol Same here. At this point I could care less for this trashed series. The real Naruto is dead and I've accepted that but If it turns out that Sarada is in fact Karin's daughter and (Dare I say it) Sakura is actually not married to Sasuke than I might claim that it was almost worth sticking with this series just for the Lulz. If SS burns I don't care what happens its PARTY TIME
