Keep in mind that we have no revenue data for the month of February in the final days when the movie was being taken down from cinemas. They could very well have reached their desired goal with the home base and we simply haven't been made aware of it yet.

The Last shouldn't even be compared to 50 shades of grey, it's popularity is a mere pebble compared to 50 shades.

I wasn't talking about message, I was talking about money. And even then, if SNS did happen SP could have used that to their advantage.  

Well, then my point overtakes yours:

If they created last movie, with all logical in my meaning pairings, nice plot, great, logical desings (not like Ino who turned into photo-model, or Gaara who became cleaner), and based story after canon-manga as epilogue showing life after war, with graphics and colors of original manga, and graphics like JoJo/Fate 2014.

Thein it totally would overkill 2 billions of yen in 1 month or even faster. Because cheap tricks never gonna beat quality in long terms of moneymaking. And totally withour false advertisement.

Story was about NS and it's mirror pairs in 3 generations. I don't say what had most interaction, I say what was pointed by plot.

The difference between NS and Zutara, was that it was clear that Katara would get with Aang, just like how Naruto should have gotten with Sakura. They didn't have victory snatched away, due to a weak willed writer.

Now you telling it, Sasuke and Naruto bonds was strongest (because of Naruto's obsession), but romantic and all it was all to NS, so it was the most logical and story-based choise, but oh well... it turned into kitten. Naruto and Sasuke's bonds always was brothers bonds (eh, no, Sasuke tried to kill Naruto many times, but who cares?).

I felt the same with Harry Potter, I always felt that Hermione and Ron were gonna end up together because of their dynamics and the way they developed, but I get why people shipped Zutara and Harry/Hermione, however NS was cheated out because popularity and not actual development. When I see people compare that, I'm like stop it...they didn't sell out...even the author of Twilight didn't sell out when people were going back and forth with Edward and Jacob, I knew she was gonna end up with Edward....goodness that movie was traumatic...
