More like wait for next chapter. Say like he shown to be impressed, then "thanks, you guys" wins. Say like he is arrogant, then "lucky me" wins.

"Lucky me" doesn't sound like Sasuke. It would be stupid for him to think such a thing. To me there is no doubt, no win to get, he's saying 'thanks to you" not "thanks to a divine spirit". But btw, he's not saying "thank you", "okage de" and even in english "thanks to" doesn't equal to thank you. It just means "it is because of that/You that I could do it" That's why I have a hard time understanding the problem with Sasuke saying 'thanks to you I reached it". He's just stating a fact. The fact that without Obito and Sakura, he wouldn't have made it. There is no acknowledgment thing here. At the best, he's acknowledging the thruth, that he wouldn't have made it without them.

2) What if Sasuke did say "Thanks to that?"

Okay, lets accept the fact that Naruto's and Sasuke's way of loving differ from each other.

BUT, I'd like to ask you this simple question as well: 'Is it really love, when it makes you sad, makes you feel like the worst person on this planet, all your development goes full reverse and most of all....destroys you mentally and emotionally?'

Or rather I'd make it simple: 'Is it really love when it makes you sad from time to time?'

thanks for the translation guys. i think its better and more save to go with that sasuke thanked them both . .and the vest too  because sasuke became that good.. even if sasuke said thanks to the vest .he stopped sakura from falling  which its the same as saying thank u.like ( ramen and darkest said).

 

 . do u guys remember when sasuke saved karin from the 8 tails. yeah sasuke is( good). but after that he didnt even think about her when he killed danzo and told sakura to kill her after that. why? because karin completed her mission to find danzo. and she was standing between him and danzo (his goal) .  the same goes for sakura . he meant and really tried to kill her with naruto and kakashi cause they are standing in his way(goal) to crush konoha. 

 

but since sasuke met itachi and the kages . . and with the 685 sasuke seems to be getting better  and care about his teammates . and the manga is nearly to end . my point is maybe there will be no naruto vs sasuke  fight to the death. .cause it dont make any sense to me .if he started to care about his friends /teammates . why would naruto kill him.  maybe kishi wanted to troll us and make us ?..so what u guys think?

'Lucky me' doesn't make sense whatsoever. What kind of personality he shows in the next chapter does not make a non-existent language existent.

I know people hate Sasuke, but you can't twist the translation to make him sound like a jerk. I don't agree with 六道仙人's translation, but Sasuke thanking the jacket makes MUCH more sense than him saying, "lucky me".

I am saying love comes in many flavours. Naruto loves in a good and construtive way and Sasuke loves in a destructive and fickle way. This is why Sasuke loves his family and yet abandoned and almost killed his friends to avenge them. It's not a good and constructive love and it's not what Sakura wants.

 

Sakura will realise that and will chose Naruto's love over Sasuke's love. Is the concept clearer now?

This vest excuse is trying too hard. Do you have so little faith in Sakura's feelings for Naruto that an apology or gratitude from Sasuke would sway her? If its that weak, its for the better that they don't end up together.

Hey, I don't hate the guy but let's be honest, he's a jerk as of late. My question has remain is what is his take on this. I can believe the one you said but you don't think once it can be an kitten remark? Surely, you take that as an account. I'm waiting on the next chapter. Trust me, I want what's best for business fans.

I agree he's a jerk. So what? That doesn't give anyone the right to twist his words. I hate Obito and I think he's a hundred times a bigger jerk than Sasuke, but I don't twist the words of how he wants to bring Sasuke back with his life as something else than that.

Go ask takL or any other Japanese. No one will translate that as "lucky me". That's trying too hard.

P.S. I'm sorry if I sounded harsh. It's just that no Japanese speaker has translated that scene as 'lucky me'. And yet the people are trying to use that because it makes Sasuke a jerk and makes it less SS as possible without any consideration for the language itself. I was furious with the SS trying to twist the translation last time, I'm nearly reaching my limit here as well.

i prefer thank you guys.. so that sasuke is getting his development and sakura says  now sasuke is good .so  that she can develop and to get over sasuke.

 

if he said thanks to that .. it means that he indirectly thanking obito and sakura . cause his pride is precious  .

 

and if he said thanks to you guys . that means sasuke finally begun to getting good again and actually care for his friends .i mean atleast when they saved him 5 seconds ago. . there u go

imo i think there is only  a (good ) love .  sakura imagined sasuke mr perfect from inside and outside . thats why she liked him. but when sakura saw sasuke . as his true self selfish and a jerk . her (liking) for him begun to vanish . which means there is only good love.. 

 

 

and i totaly agree with u here . is the narusaku bond is so weak that sasuke in  2 panel breaks it. .. then as u said this bond shouldnt hapeen.

I think its more about how Sasuke loves, not Sakura. Kishimoto made Naruto still consider Sasuke his best friend very recently and he doesn't seem to make platonic love be more important than romantic love. I agree that Sasuke is selfish and that kind of thing won't make Sakura happy.

I'm confused. Didn't we establish it's to that vest? Look, I'm not twisting, it's more like listening on what's being written. Am I mistaken something? The guy already established it a while back, while we pulling Phoenix Wright. Not that I'm saying we shouldn't but put it this way, I'm not part of this. Don't look at me.

I don't understand. Are you saying he said "lucky me" or "thanks to your vest"? Both are wrong to me but anyway. He doesn't talk about any vest at any moment. If you read ramenanmitsu's and my post you would see that he doesn't say the word "vest" at any moment. I thought my post was clear and understandable about the translation, but maybe no one read it or maybe it's not clear enough I don't know.

 

I have to say, sometimes there is so little to no repsonse to my post, I'm wondering if it's worth posting it since no one seems to read it.
