You are twisting the facts, Codus just meant that it would offensive to Kishimoto saying that we find pairings more important then the story as whole. And I think you are reading too much into things ciardha, because I think that if the romantic development of Naruto and Sakura was an core element of the manga, Kishimoto would have given it far more screentime for this couple then he actually did. Their real romantic moments are too few and apart from each other to call it an "core element". I'm not dismissing narusaku, but I think you are giving way too much glory for this pairing.

I agree with this too, ciardha makes many good points but sometimes I think she looks too much into things and never consider looking at thing in a more neutral standpoint, NaruSaku is not close to canon is very far from being close, there are so many things Naruto doesn't know about Sakura and there are so many things Sakura doesn't know about Naruto and the fact that they keep secrets from each other just to spare each others feeling, show that they have a lot to work on.
Kishi is also keeping Narutos feelings towards Hinata anonymous force us to be patient and wait for the outcome.

The manga is still Sakura>>>>Sasuke Naruto>>>>Sakura Hinata>>>>Naruto Nothing has changed only the fact that Sakura knows that Naruto really likes her and she is being nicer to him and the fact that she accepts that Sasuke is a bad person.
Anything else is just fan speculations.

BTW, regarding the picture, I would've thought Minato and Kushina's positions would be switched since Naruto would obviously be more of a mama's boy and *hate* Minato like Kenji from RK hates Kenshin, his father. The parallels are amusing, aren't they??

I just thought it would've been amusing if he "hates" his father and is a big mama's boy to Kushina. Anyone reading RK would know what I'm talking about.

Well from what we know if Kishi doesn't change Kushina and Minato's personalities. Kushina will be doing all the talking, while Minato will be used more as a figure to look up to for Naruto and nothing else in the advice department standpoint, all the advice will come from Kushina
Minato will only agree with her.

awww seeing this picture make me want to see some realy good family moments more then ever I really imagine Naruto being all mama's boy, the way he interact with Kushina when he saw her in the manga pretty much confirm that. As for Minato, Naruto show is affection toward him in a different light then his mother but I don't see him 'hating' his father. However, a good rivality with his father would be interesting to see

Anyway, I'm sure that we'll get some good developement with Naruto and his parents and that's all the matter.

*sigh* I disagree. Your opinion is your own, but it doesn't represent me. I think the pairing stuff is a core element in that if it wasn't there, I wouldn't be reading it. That doesn't make me less of a Naruto fan, but I like my ninjas with a little romance, that's all!

And yeah, as a core element, Naruto's preference was established from the beginning. Kishimoto, being a professional creator, laid it all out. The story doesn't revolve around Naruto's love, but you can't diminish it's importance part of the foundation the plot is built on.

As for the survey, don't worry about it. Write whatever you want. Say you love NaruSaku to bits. Say you ship Pakkun/Akamaru. In all likelihood these responses will never reach Kishimoto (sorry to burst any bubbles). However they will go to the creative team in charge of the publicity, and they will love it. If you want to reach Kishimoto, write him a letter. But don't worry about a tiny comment response. Nothing earth-shattering will come 150-character-or-less response. It's all for fun. Just enjoy it.

(And it's not like supporting NS is going to be offensive — it's the pairing shipped by the creator. I would think they'd want to hear that the audience gets it!)

Now you are going to the personal level. I was just generally speaking. On a neutral point of view, this manga don't give much emphasis to romance, is far more centered about the bonds of family and friends, and the quest of the characters to find an indentity in this world. But if we speak on a more personal level, then of course what we consider the core elements of this series would change widely.

Roles are really reversed, here looks like TenTen takes a brawler role similar to Lee, so Lee would either be weapon speacialist of a Chakra powerhouse? I thought origially Kiba looked like a mouse but a cat makes more sense, I really hope he doesn't say '-Nya' after every sentence, I find that a bit annoying in animes that do that if i'm honest. Hmm...So wonder what Shino will be like? A motermouth with a serious allergy to bugs I wonder?

I say this on Crunchyroll just moments before coming here, and I just couldn't stop staring, it's such an amazing sketch, the looks on Naruto and Kushina's face, it's priceless, it's can't be easy to capture in one simple drawing the love a family has for each other and this does it so well...Naruto would have been suc a happy child.

Well from the two meetings between parent and child it became obvious that the Naruto of the realworld is more of a mommies boy than a daddy little dude, so would make sense the AU Naruto would take after his father more than his mother.

I wonder if Naruto will have any siblings in this movie? I would like to think that if Kushina and Minato survived they would have had atleast one other child.

But since Naruto doesn't know his parents in this movie, it would be weird if Tobi manipulated his mind like that. Like he knows Minato and Kushina's personality enough to include them. Naruto knows all the others, so they'll be opposite of what they usually act like around him, and Sakura too.

That is why I don't think they're a part of the genjutsu, so they can't have another child if my theory is awesome enough to be correct.
