Yes, but it wasn't that long of a series. His other manga, Blazer Drive, was done (even though, that manga had like 30 pages per chapter).

My views on 666 Satan are the same as the show Dexter "Great series but really, really, really bad ending" (i'm not referring to the open-ending either) even if it did get cancelled the way he ended it just was....really bad

Lately, we are challenging ourselves because competition grew thin. Now our true enemy is "open ending."

 

What you mean? Are you implying that the other fandoms have kind of gave up, or is it we are just all feeling so freaking cocky. Please elaborate.

 

If the manga is targeted at young men and women and it's not meant to be complicated. Then why are a lot of the fans convinced that NH will be the end pairing? Even when there is absolutely no signs for NH happening.

 

One,  I wouldn't say that NH has no signs of happening. And Two, I blame Kishi's lack of ability to write romance.

But yeah I agree with the fact that the pairing situation should be obvious. However it is hard to determine what Kishi is trying to deduce when opposing fandoms are arguing among themselves with such passion and conviction, that it is hard to tell if one fandom is just crazy and if the other has a point.

 

For the longest time, I feared we may have been one of the crazy ones. Maybe we were the ones making the arguments that weren't really there. Maybe we were seeing things that wasn't Kishi's intention. That is what I feared the most...... Until the Road to Ninja came out (which was very pro-NS), and Minato's comment about how Sakura reminded him of Kushina made me realize we are not crazy. Even if Narusaku doesn't become canon in the end, I at least know it isn't because we are crazy, but because Kishi is an epic troll (and kind of a jerk).

Well, I must admit, cocky is a hard thing to counter without unintentionally sounding like it. That said it's just that it's obvious as much as Aang and Katara. It's not that it's a cocky thing to think, it's just what else did you expect. Honestly, if Sakura still loves Sasuke to the end, it's going to be open ending since Sasuke got no intention for love nor any build-up for one. There's almost nothing to fear anymore.

The irony is that people often tells us during 615 that why dwell on the past when that is going on now. Well if we repeat that, they will tell us to shut up. So pretty much, the only problem is really the open ending because this is Kishi's first big hit series, let alone series. We'll see what kind of guy he is in terms of ending the story.

Really wondering if we're going to get another NS moment soon. Naruto will probably thank Sakura and Obito for saving him, but anything else? I dunno.

Amen on that winter talk.

Naruto will credit them, including his dad for even passing Kuruma to him. The way I see it, Obito and Sakura deserve the most credit out of all. Deny it and you'll suffer!

I agree with this. Out of who deserves the MOST credit I believe that honor goes to Sakura. He'd be dead by now were it not for her.

I mean Kishi did say he plans on closing the story conclusively and I can't really imagine him doing that without some pairs getting settled

Another of my speculations, I think we are gonna get a no show for next chapter. Maybe we have just hyped the situation, maybe we are expecting a little too much. Seeing how Kishi throws in a moment when we least expect it and does not when we expect the most, we might be heading for a no show. Now this is just a prediction for upcoming manga and NOT the whole plot. But even this is true that Kishi has the best chance to give us a perfect moment since the manga is in its final phase n the setup is near perfect for the pairing. Goddamn it! I'll say there cannot be a more perfect situation than this!

When predicting a pairing moment, I think it's best to aim at the situation and not the chapter. Sakura's reaction will give me feels, I just don't know when. Depends on the focus, and we don't know how long the talk with Rikudo will be.

But to be fair, why shouldn't be at least a little happy. Everything is going well for our ship, with the CPR, the Kushina comment, and pretty much all the other development that have happen between the two. I even find it ridiculous for any fan to deny that at they least see it as a possibility, especially because the fact that I have always given NH a chance of happening (never SS though). 

 

However, I feel like we maybe flying to close to the sun. We may get too confident, and Kishi (like the pairing troll that he is) would do something to screw us over again, just like 615 (and the whole looking in your eyes thing). Then the whole fandom will panic again,along with everything else that happened during that time (jumping ship, losing fate, keeping morale, etc...).

Actually everything kishi is doing in favor to other pairings at this point just goes against the story and development (631;...). In the end kishi can do what he wants, but why should he do it, ruin his story go against it? Theres no reason for it so i think we can without a doubt cosnider NS canon since at least 631.

I don't get this talk about getting too confident and being too cocky. If you see something as the most likely thing to happen why shouldn't you express such believe if you can also back it up with facts?

 

We are not offending some "Pairing God" who will then make Kishi have NH canon as punishment for us being "cocky".

 

This really is all the result of making the pairing fandom into some larger-than-life entity which we should be mindful of. It isn't.

You know in a way I Sort of Agree with you but at the same time I disagree with what you said. While it's true Kishi isn't really good when it comes to romance, you can't really ask for a lot since the characters in this story are still basically kids. Yes we see then dealing with some mature stuff but they're still kids. So you cannot expect anything special.

And it's true both fandoms "fight" with each other but from what I saw so far the NS fanbase is way more intelligent and more mature, they see moments for what they actually are while the NH fanbase is well sorry to say this but less intelligent and immature they interpret moments differently and use that interpretation as proof. For example when 663 the NS fans liked the moment between Sakura and Naruto however they saw it for what it was. When 615 came out the NH fans immediately went "Naruhina is official. Naruto loves Hinata." The difference between the two fandoms is astonishing.

Good point. I actually completely forgot about Gaara for some reason. In my defense, it hasn't really been the best day for me thus far

@sushi: Oh, of course many others deserve credits. It's just that it's a bit funny that Sakura is with him all the way, even now. I guess what I'm trying to say is her being there now is made for a reason. I don't mean the medic part, I mean being the most spent time out there. Wouldn't surprise me if it happens the same with Karin, if she really get there first than all others. It's plot.

@transformers03: I understand what you mean but honestly, I will feel nothing for any "NH/SS moment". Unless you can repeat it again with Hinata and Sakura edition. But even then, I don't buy it. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, well you know.
