Sakura might qualify for Tokubetsu-Jonin status based on her medical skills alone, but as far as being a jounin goes.....meh.
Post Sasori-fight, her hyped dodging skills haven't really been displayed much at all.
Remember how she couldn't even dodge Omoi's kick? Or how in recent chapters Kakashi had to help pull her away from the Juubi's spikes?
Sometimes I wonder if she's regressed.

And red, no. Just... no. Really, Sakura's a Taijutsu specialist who was trained by Tsunade to hone her reflexes in evasion. and Tsunade is a close-combat fighter. Other than projectile attacks, Tsunade would've trained her in Taijutsu combat. So, really. Seeing the student of onne of the world's best taijutsu specialists getting kicked around like that....



Keep in mind that was a Sakura in peak condition.

Just because they have a similar name doesn't mean they are the same, Minato my have named his technique in honor of Tobirama's Hirashingiri. Furthermore every time the Flying Thunder God Jutsu has been mentioned (most recently by the Mizukage) it was called the Yondaime Hokage's technique, which says to me that it is known throughout the Shinobi world that Minato was the jutsu's creator and given that Tobirama is known for his skill in Water jutsu, and Edo Tensei, you'd think he would also be well known for creating the Flying Thunder God Jutsu as well.

They don't have a similar name they have the same NAME hirashin, giri simply refers to slash it's like oodama rasengan it's still a rasengan but bigger.
As for your second point Minato himself said that Obito's jutsu was superior to his and Tobirama's sapce time jutsu so we know that Tobirama had a space time jutsu, that's part of a story everytime we learn more first it was water jutsu then edo tensei and then space time jutsu. I mean I am not pulling that from my ass it's a manga fact from the character know as a Hirashin user he obviously has enough knowledge on this matter.
Again same name from 2 people known as space time user you do the math, it doesn't mean the technique are the same (I do think Minato's jutsu is more advanced, he improved Tobirama's jutsu just like Kabuto improved edo tensei) but they are related.

You put too much hype in jounin, remember that also Temari and Neji have that rank. Do you really think they're that much stronger than Sakura?

Just saying, the fact that Sakura could hold her own against Sasori for such a long time when Kankuro, a jounin, couldn't even last ten minutes against him, plus the fact that Chiyo kept praising Sakura's skills over and over, that can pretty much tell you that Sakura was already beyond the level of a chunin.

Also, you're making too big of a deal about Omoi kicking her, people get hit when they fight. And remember that Sakura needs to understand the pattern of an attack before she's able to flawlessly dodge.

To be fair , Kankuro could have been super elite jonin level , he still would not have stood a chance against Sasori , the one that created his puppets , not to mention that he had no idea who he was up against and what his abilities were . Chio/Sakura was the perfect combo though in taking him down : an elite puppet master , that also knew Sasori and his fighting style quite well + plus a super punch awesome dodge Sakura .

We also have no evidence that says that Tobirama created the technique, it is just an assumption based on the name of a technique that from what we've seen of it is only alike in name only, so until we are given more information I'm gonna have to say that the two techniques are not related.

That's true, but if Sakura didn't have a sufficient high level of skill not even their combo would've been effective. It's because Sakura was already above chunin level thanks to Tsunade's training that she and Chiyo were able to push Sasori back as much as they did.

Explain to me how a technique called Hirashin used by 2 people known to use space time jutsu , have the exact same name, and both put in the same level by Minato have no relation at all ? You're basically saying it would be perfectly fine for chidori to be called rasengan but it doesn't make sense, names have a meaning. Do you have any other examples of 2 others techniques sharing the exact same name but still completely unrelated ? Because as far as I am concerned that's a first in this manga and in a lot of mangas.
As for your point about the mizu it doesn't mean a lot when a lot of statements have been contradicted by further developments in the manga, it's just a statement made by one character at one point, it's not necessarily god's words otherwise Sarutobi is the god of shinobi ( stated by Iruka), only an Uchiha can defeat an Uchiha, Kyuubi is a natural disaster.... there are a lot of statements like that in the manga but there are nothing more than hyperboles.
One last point nothing really says Tobirama created maybe he simply learned it, maybe his use was rudimentary and it was nothing more than a support move we know nothing about that. And where exactly is it stated Minato created the jutsu ? He is the one who used it and gave it such hype but nothing about him creating the jutsu from scratch, it doesn't take away Minato's achievement anyway or his genius status otherwise all characters simply copied ridukou sennin since he's the one who created ninjutsu.

To be honest it's getting tedious, if you can't aknowledge at least the possibility the 2 are related then it's useless to debate about it any longer belive what you want and we are derailing the thread anyway I am not sure people are enjoying this debate in a thread which purpose has nothing to do with what we are discussing.

I really like what I read here, the little time so many people had no faith in NS, it is clear that there were still many who remained calm and analyze the situation as it should, but it was all a mess!
I wonder if it would last or everything would go back as before again if we had a moment NH or SS, not that I'm expecting it, God was really traumatic whole situation, was seeking support from those that I trusted to overcome all NH fanfare from fans and found our own ship desperate.
Anyway I'm glad everything is back to normal, the confidence is reigning again and I hope it stays that way!

I`m with you on this. Besides Naruto who performed an epic sequence of moves to protect Sakura it was a one shot battle. Sakura getting kicked was logical. Even for Naruto the hero of the leaf menuvering in mid air is impossible. He has to use shadow clones for that. Sakura was in full attack jump ready to land a punch when out of nowhere omoi jumps on Karui and kicks her. His action as depicted in the anime (its not filler it actually happened that way) was extremly fast. Fast enough to barely notice it especialy from the angle he landed in, let alone do something about it. After Naruto cusioned her fall they both retreated.

Sakura is awesome and we just need an enemy apropriate for her to show off her full skills.

@Codus_N Would you please cut Sakura and Kishi some slack please.

Hashirama gave many chances to Madara from the past till now (the end of VotE). When he finally pulls the right trigger (renegade), he pretty much changed his character's direction. Because of that, he failed to be all pure with Madara. Friendship completely destroyed. That said Naruto will go all paragon to the very end. I think Sasuke may compare his life with Madara when Sasuke is on his knee and bout to die like Madara's fate, which he will be wrong because Naruto is not like that. Remember, Naruto is the guy who hates the current Ninja system. So, pretty much we will return to the old development from first arc. We'll see how Kishi handles it. Madara left before the VotE, so perhaps Sasuke will continue to be outsider after all. Again, we'll see.

Naruto probably won`t have the hearth to do it, but I think Sasuke needs to die. The Uchihas were bad blood from the older son of Rikudou sennin forward. As long as they exist there will always be a Madara in the world. This is a clan that needed eradication. Sadly Itachi couldn`t get the job done.

He can die in a way that means sacrifice for the good. But, if not, he will stay alive, only to be a wanderer because the world won't accept him anymore. Only Naruto and Team 7 (not as much but we'll see). The point is that Sasuke has two options: live but never return or die for the greater good.

For Sasuke? He made the choice. He can deal with it. He can be like Orochimaru, only make it for free land, rather than a slavery. There's a possibility that he can make a hidden village of his own, now learning from the flashback. This is possible.

I'd love Sasuke and the rest of team Taka to be like Akatsuki in RTN movie. Konohagakure allies. Sort of wandering ninjas who protect the peace in shinobi world.

You know, I'd love that so much but I can't see it happening. If anything, Sasuke will be with his other friends wandering or settled in some place.

The most probable for Sasuke in the end is that either he dies ( which I really don't want to ) or be a wanderer with his friends.

Or perhaps create a hidden village on his own. Again, the keyword is hidden. Orochimaru did one in a way, so you never know. I always feel like they may do. I remember Suigetsu made the prisoners to spread the word that Sasuke's the savior. I wonder why.
