Look, if he decided NH, that's ok. However, why the buildup was slacking? Why not just develop it, period? Why have non-canon overshadow NH? Why let anime to push NS until what someone claimed "Didn't see it coming"? Why put up lies and anticipation of Sakura moving on with anime, data books, games, etc.? Why make females in the series seen as "terrible when leaving a non-relationship guy?" Why have Naruto still loving Sakura and not move forward with Hinata in part 2 intro to start the drive of "winning her?" Why even do love interest in the first place?

Should I go on?

 

And proof that NH has zero development is in the last movie (after two years skip) , it starts with Naruto loves Sakura then switch to Hinata in the end of the movie LOOOOOOL 

 

Naruto intersected  with Hinata for one hour , is deleted all the NS developments for 19 years  HAHAHAHA

The 8-years-ago thing came from a twitter account that is supposed to be an assistant. But nothing's certain about the source. And the only thing it said was that the ending was decided 8 years ago. That ending could be planning out the battle with Sasuke or it could plotting out the final set of villains after the war arc. Since the ending revolves around the battle with Sasuke, I think that's what the 8-years-ago comment is refering to. With as little attention as has been paid to the pairings and the resolution of their storylines, I find it hard to believe that they even cared enough to bring it up 8 years ago. Clearly, they were not important to the bigger plan.

 

I think since the source is unconfirmed and the language is vague, the statement should be put in the vault and forgotten about. I wish it would quit being used as a justification for NH. I simply don't believe it's true. And nothing in the manga supports steady development for 8 years. And Kishimoto himself has changed lots of things in the manga, after he's said the opposite was going to happen. So even from his own mouth, the course of the manga can take a different course.

 

Anyway, I wish as a fandom we could just let this one go. There is nothing to support it but an anonymous twitter account.

Where did you get this info? Are you sure the director wasnt talking about the 699 Nardo vs Sasuke fight? Because one thing is saying and the other thing is showing and what Kishimoto showed me throught the course of his manga was something very different than what the director is saying.

 

I am going to let the movie go out and christmass to pass, then I will send a hand written letter to kishimoto in japanese. Telling him about the awesome ride that I had and also WTF was up with the ending. I am not going to blame him if they forced it on him or if it was for money, but I just want to know the truth.

 

In the envelope It will have a paper so that he can reply back. I will also express my toughts for other charas that recieved the end of the stick.
Also if the miserable ending was meant to be taken as a sign "if I am supposed to believe that kishi loves parallels and its actually telling is a messege on his end page" that that is how he feels.

 

Like in that picture of him at the event, with his sad face of "what have they done to my series" some folks said it was because he wasnt comfortable in those kinds of events but, I dont know.

I don't think he sold out, or else NH wouldn't have been planned for "quite some time".  He didn't develop NH in the manga because he sucks at romance and was embarrassed to do it. Poor excuse, I know.  But that's the reality of it. There's no evidence for the "sold out" theory.  It's an assumption.

I dont believe for a second he never thought of NS before. he had too much develpment of their relationship that boarded on romance not too. jesus christ the fanbase is hugh in japan.

 

Personaily he did sell out just by saying that. he went with the bigger overseas fanbase and thats NH, its popular. so the ''quite some time ago'' is a lame excuse imo.

Why don't we just all admit that Kishimoto planned NH? It's not that he sold out or anything like that, he just had a terrible idea and went along with it even after realizing that NS was more logical.

Because, to put it simply; it makes no sense. 

He planned NH but did not develop it? he planned NH but ignored it, he planned NH but developed Ns until the last second? Sorry, but no.

I'm neutral towards Hinata. The way the anime team is pushing her though, won't do it for me, and will have the contrary outcome. I never liked to be told what to like. I can reach that conclusion on my own. Her tities and being passive may not be enough and I might come to resent Hinata if this continues.

 

There's nothing to Hinata than her feelings for Naruto either. From spoiler providers, the movie plot isn't signficant and what is there is poorly executed, it's there as background for Naruto and Hinata interaction. It was not necessary to have a full movie with Hinata or NaruHina. It should have been a balanced script. Hinata and NaruHina are now the icons of shafting Sasuke, Sakura, Kakashi and Team 7. Even the other leaf teens deserved screentime, but only Hinata gets to have anything. Hinata's been revealed to be the main character's love interest and that is important of course, but that shouldn't take the priority nor should it be all that we see.

 

Hinata's still as Naruto-centric as ever according to the movie. It amuses me that Junko called it out on her interview, one track mind and self-centered. To be fair, making Hinata more than pairing fodder feels fake as well since she has never been anything more than that. This new episode that is Hyuga centric... The beloved elder sister? Isn't she a black sheep according to this movie? Wasn't she shafted for Hanabi when they were young? SP can't make it consistent. I still remember when Tsunade's fight with Pain was cut by the editors, but now a full movie has been dedicated to Hinata and romance, fillers are being dedicated to Hinata and the relationship with her sister (that never existed before). As if anyone who watched this series was interested in Hinata or Hanabi more than anything else.

 

I don't think the movie will flop. It was marketed as something more than Hinata and NaruHina, so people will go nevertheless because they haven't seen the spoilers. Even if they don't like the movie, japanese fans are way more mellow about things than westerners, I'll be very surprised if there are major complaints. However, I'm seeing a few pissed off already. I didn't expect that.

LOL....Eight years ago? That was around Chapter 300, the time he had Yamato make the 'The truth is you realy...." sentence.

 

I seriously doubt that Kishi had decided to go for NH then, because he had plenty of time to build up NH since then, almost 400 chapters worth, If Kishi had decided on the pairings then he would have put Hinata in more scenes. If that is the case the NS fans have actual reasons to hate Kishi, literally hate him, he gave us multiple scenes after that, that strongly hinted at NS. The Yamato scene, the scene with Sai asking Naruto why he hasn't confessed, the Ramen scene, the scene with Sakura shouting Naruto's name when they were in trouble, the hug, and who knows how many other scenes. If Kishi really had the pairings planned for the past eight years he did a lousy job, I went from liking the pairing to seriously shipping it largely down to the moments they shared this past eight years, if that's his way of clueing everyone in on NH and SS then he should punched in the face by every single fan he trolled.

 

He probably told the Director that he planned to end with Naruto and Sasuke's battle, actually wasn't it rumoured that Kishi was not happy with SP at the time for the way they kept screwing up the Canon? I'm sure I'd read that a few times.

 

I doubt Kishi even knew the pairings he planned to end with until three years ago, that was when the manga went wonky, and now it becomes clear he'd made the changes to give a boss in the movie that was related to the Sage. The other son of Kaguya was literally as as relevant as the the Hyuuga clan in the manga, though still managed to turn up at the end to ruin the entire manga.

Honestly, I think it's all bull. Every time you go back, it really, really don't feel that way, especially when you experience the same style with other series. This one really don't have shounen feel at all. Everything seems wrong. The movie based on the spoilers made no sense, heavily create enough new materials to make it "work" which so far, it doesn't. It just screams lies.

But if you do believe he planned it for ages, go ahead. You only acknowledge him as a terrible writer, rather than passion dies so he don't care. Pick one side to have some dignity. Because as of now, Digimon got outclassed by star distance.

LOL Kondo has to be the only Stalker that I like he's to god damn funny for anyone to dislike him .

 

Kishimoto should have watched and learned from Hideaki Sorachi how to properly  write strong females and  his Hero  . Even though Gintama is mostly  comedy  its  way  better then this crap that's called Naruto  it even gives a better message then Naruto the battles are done very good and the females real badasses as well ,  and the main trio are really shown to function and  work as a team and a family they really have a proper bond unlike kitten 7  .  

 

Believe it or not there is not a single character that I dislike in Gintama  and its why  now its my favorite manga and anime (still sad  that they canceled it  )   Sorachi is the man and a brilliant mangaka   its a shame that Gintama is not more popular then this crap  that is Naruto and its SexistSellout Author   .

8 years ago? This is BS.
And im willing to bet he just didn't "thought"about sakura he actually went through the NS route in some parts of the story , early shippuden was full of NS moments for example , until that confession in chapter 469 and Sakura's crazy love for sasuke was brought back
