Today I need to do many house chores. I will be at my friend's dorm too if it's possible to finish assignment. But mother said that her friend would make this at school. I hope she really cooks it! That would make my day!

 

My favourite porridge, complete with its chili sauce and ikan asin (salty fish?)

That looks like a soup, with a rise and some bay leaves? Yellow, is that corn? I love corn!

I can't eat corn without having an upset stomach. And there are lots of food recipes that uses corn. :argh;

It's uncommon porridge. Porridge here usually use coconut milk but this one doesn't. Its filling usually pumpkin, corn, carrot, and kale. Some people like to add cassava too

 

It's pretty simple. You boil the rice and add lemongrass and salam leaf, then add the vegetables based on the hardest(?) to the softest ingredients.
