Why don't we just all admit that Kishimoto planned NH? It's not that he sold out or anything like that, he just had a terrible idea and went along with it even after realizing that NS was more logical.

I find it hard to believe he had this planned out, because otherwise he would have actually developed the NH relationship IN THE MANGA but he didn't so that's why he sold out.

Wonder if the last volume will sell well. I mean I do believe it will going by the fact it's the last volume. It's hard to determine the fans' thoughts because of the last volume and it's the end of all. If the sales remain the same as older volumes, I'll be surprised.

Narusaku cannot happen because a girl would like fickle if she changes her feelings at this rate of the story, despite he had many years in hand to develop a proper love story between NS. But for the sake of the marketing, kishimoto had to leave the romance unclear.

Look, if he decided NH, that's ok. However, why the buildup was slacking? Why not just develop it, period? Why have non-canon overshadow NH? Why let anime to push NS until what someone claimed "Didn't see it coming"? Why put up lies and anticipation of Sakura moving on with anime, data books, games, etc.? Why make females in the series seen as "terrible when leaving a non-relationship guy?" Why have Naruto still loving Sakura and not move forward with Hinata in part 2 intro to start the drive of "winning her?" Why even do love interest in the first place?

Should I go on?

Because he didn't develop it
If you plan something out, it doesn't just happen, you have to gradually work on it until it's achieved.
Plus you're giving him too much credit, he has no logic. He lacks a spin, he lacks any logical thought, and he lacks many other things

I wouldn't be surprised if the volume cover showed NaruHina and SasuSaku on the cover. If Kishi has some dignity left the final volume cover should be Naruto and Sasuke only clashing that's it. If we get the canon pairings cover than I doubt the finsl volume will sell well.

In fact, doing the movie really makes him sees it as an afterthought. Fine, but sheesh, talk about underwhelming. In fact, why not do all other series? A lot of series aren't romance yet they still handle it well. FMA is a great example of stay shounen but also end the romance subplot. It's not needed to make it shoujo or poor man romantic movie. Disney doesn't even do this and it's still good.

Man he's such a horrible author it's not even funny, I can't believe I thought he was decent and had respect for. Just a huge disappointment in the end, I would never recommend this manga to anybody.

That's not true. What the director was referring to was the fact that Sasuke was always meant to be the final villian. That was the ending that Kishi told him about 8 years ago. Kishi acknowledged that in an interview. The pairings weren't planned, that's why the manga and the ending are inconsistent.

... Are you saying this b/c it makes it easier to accept NaruHina?

The only thing that was truly decided eight years ago was that the Manga would end with Naruto vs Sasuke. He says that he has decided upon NaruHina a while ago, but his manga contradicts everything he's saying.
