It's very "interesting" indeed how the creator of the series is so incosistent with his own characters. Regardless, this movie will probably please the majority anyway.

Are you serious? Until now, it's pleasing only the NH fandom so far. Even SS are kittening...

I will admit, that's a scary sign. That fandom is huge. NH for now relies on Japan since that's the first place. It feels like since SS is large, they don't need to justify it. NH need though.

If we follow the logic of SS not needing justification, then NH also doesn't since it's the most popular NaruXXX ship (hetero) after NaruSaku, which couldn't happen because SS... Though the support a ship gets doesn't justify its canonization. In fact, SasuSaku needs much better explanations than NH, their fandom is right about complaining. If it's canon and there will be a movie to explain the canon couples, at least don't stick to just one pairing, letting the other undeveloped as hell. Still, I wouldn't accept getting my ship developed only in a freaking movie anyway, especially in a 700 chapter manga. That's what happens when you choose the canon pairings over the fandom and not the manga.

I was talking with one of my subscribers and thought what if The Last was a somewhat continuation to Road To Ninja.

 

You have the universe where Naruto and Sakura get together.

 

 

Then you have the alternate universe where Menma and Hinata get together.

 

 

 

I think that would've been an interesting idea minus the fact that The Last wouldn't be canon. In a way it's the perfect way to say "there you've got both pairings at the endgame".

 

 

 

I'm still sticking with my idea with The Last should've focused on been the bond between sisters with Hinata and Hanabi.

I wonder what new fans will be thinking years from now when they're getting into Naruto and don't have bandwagoners filling their heads with how much of a kitten Sakura is and how Hinata is perfect and so on and so forth. They won't have to wait weeks in between chapters and can probably storm through it over a long weekend. It'd be nice to see how they feel about the ending if it wasn't spoiled for them.

They have to try so hard to make this movie believable, it's not even funny how much, THe RtN filler didn't do anything all it did was add the AU Sakura in the canon world and we had a load of fun, not much was needed to sell that because everyone knew the charactors.

 

This movie needs an hour long filler to explain the bond between sisters because there has been non, It's Freaking Hilarious, they Need a Hour long prologue to help you make a little sense of the 80 minutes movie.

 

Funny thing is if Hinata and Hanabi's bond was as strong as they are trying to show it contradict the part of the movie that tries to tell us how Hinata had a lonely childhood.

 

This movies build-up has been like a train wreck, I know I shoud not look but I can't look away.

I listened to that myself. Though it was entertaining to hear the language barrier hindering their ability to communicate with the employee, it was ultimately pointless to call them. Notice how the SJ employee continually repeated how the complainer's grievances were just their opinion while feigning ignorance and dodging the important questions presented to them? We don't know if the employee was genuinely unaware of any goings-on or if they were simply trying to diffuse the situation without leaking any incriminating facts or information regarding SJ's role in the construction of the epilogue.

The person called to complain about Karin being missing in chapter 699-700. It was a waste of time though because I doubt the people she was talking to knew anything. She also that the ending disappointed a lot of people and a writer who makes his fans pay for his work should be given an ending that everyone should enjoy.

Yeah, I was finally able to listen to it, and I think I almost died out of laughter XD

But irony aside, I feel really bad for this fan. This just shows how much Kishi has disappointed his fan by leaving out some important characters in the end.

Why don't we just all admit that Kishimoto planned NH? It's not that he sold out or anything like that, he just had a terrible idea and went along with it even after realizing that NS was more logical.
