Not exactly, because all Naruto has to do is confess. Remember Naruto and Sakura have 15 years of development. That's 7889231 minutes according to Google.

I agreed. So much. There's no lesson coming from this. Even for the villain. Misunderstanding and done. Done that over millions of times. And if the lesson is for Hinata, then it will make your main characters look bad. They should be the one to get a moral. I haven't seen Frozen but I heard from my friends did this message on love much better. Not only that, but Sakura is coming off sexist, which is baffling and disheartening at the same time.

 

I should watch that movie...

Hey guys, just wanted to pop in and say happy thanksgiving to all the Americans. I'm thankful for a couple things dealing with the NS community and this site is definitely one of them. I have been on multiple forums before, but never seen a community so friendly and thoughtful. It truly is amazing.

Also, I'm super thankful I burnt some meaningless kitten. Can't forget about that.

And thankful for all the users that dedicate their time, artistic ability and writing skills to this beautiful fandom. The movie may abandon all senses of logic, but we will never abandon each other.

You'd have to be dropped on the head multiple times as a child to believe that, Does this person really think we are dumb enough to beleive the last chapter, all the promotion work, who knows how many $$$ spent on making all the content thath as been seen, was all for a troll?

 

So the scarf Naruto wears early on is a scarf Kushina made him when she was pregnent? Is Kishi is really trying to have us believe Hinata is like Kushina because they both knit a scarf for him? Also why the freaking heck would Kushina knit a scarf that big for her newborn? Was she hoping to suffacate her child? That scarf is too big for Naruto as a adult, it would be useless for a baby.

 

Also I've said this before, when the freaking heck did Konoha get Winter, we've had the manga run for 16 years and it's never snowed in Konoha, all we've had is rainy season, Is there anything about this movie that conforms to Canon? The weather is wrong, the The charactors behaviour is wrong, their feelings are wrong, their history is wrong....everything is freaking wrong.

 

Edit: Yeah Happy Thankgiving to all my North American friends...I am thankful that Kishi was dumb enough to ruin the ending weeks before the last movie came out so I didn't have to waste my time getting hyped about it.

Yes! Very disappointed and upset! And they (and me) have a reason to because we bought the pre-sale tickets 2 months in advance. The pre-sale tickets come with a a Naruto, Sasuke or Kakashi JUMP manga cover so naturally many fans thought they will all 3 will play a big role in the movie. Even if not a big role at least more than 1 line! So this means the marketers KNEW we would fall for their dirty tactics and now people who bought the tickets feel cheated (and rightly so!)  Sasuke and Kakashi are now labelled as 客寄せパンダ ‘Customer gathering panda’ which means they are like the cute pandas at the zoo whom you hear about and get excited for but when you get there the panda is sleeping or not available to see! I mean if they’re not in the movie so much then sell the tickets with Naruto and Hinata goods instead! Don’t intentionally sell to the Sasuke or Kakashi fanbase as well! They are evil!!

Most of the fans were looking forward to some hard core movie-style action with a showdown between Naruto and Sasuke or maybe teaming up together to go up against Toneri or Kakashi being a badass Rokudaime Hokage. But apparently all Kakashi does is sit in meetings with the other village Kages and it might as well have been Tsunade there, we got used to seeing her as part of the 5 Kages anyway. He is discussing what to do about the moon because armageddon is coming. Turns out it doesn’t matter what they do anyway cause Toneri is just in love with Hinata for some reason as a plot device for Naruto to go save her. It’s a NaruHina movie so him going to rescue her is to be expected but to write the story so that it renders every other character useless just doesn’t feel right with me. Oh and Sasuke says that one line in that trailer. Apparently he saves Hiashi and the village but no one knows and he just leaves again.

As for SasuSaku of course I am disappointed! I used to be a major SasuSaku fan but that was quite a long time ago back during part 1 because before Sasuke fell into the darkness he was a really great guy. Will never forget how he took all those needles for Naruto back in Wave Country arc and Forest of death etc. Now that Naruto is able to bring back the old Sasuke it would have been nice to see him appreciating Sakura and see a more softer side of him. If SasuSaku and NaruHina is decided to be the canon couples that is absolutely fine but there are many many believable ways to do that WITHOUT rendering Naruto’s feelings towards Sakura useless first and creating a villain with the personailty of a toothpick in some generic save-Princess Hinata story. He’s supposedly a descendant of Kaguya yet his intentions or background are not explained, nor why he wants Hinata’s special byakugan or why he’s so in love with her that he needs to make her his wife! It would’ve been a great chance to learn more about the history of the Rikudosennin Sage of 6 paths and their family history but no … this is just a love story through and through! And a badly written one!

Oops I didn’t mean to rant so much. Anyway I hope that answers your questions!

Out of likes. Let me say this: thank god I have Halo 2 Anniversary Trailer, which is freaking awesome, because I was boiling hot inside. That's just sad and once again, what is the point of Kakashi being Hokage. It makes it worse that the villain is literally there to make the pairing happen. Wow.

 

Today, I want to be thankful. So rant later, ok.

The more I hear people complaining about this movie being nothing more than NH romance, the more hope I get that this movie won't reach the expectation they assume it would.

The problem is if it's already been sold out because of pre-orders, then it is going to be a "hit" on that basis alone.
