I'm guessing that this won't hurt his season much. If he gets suspended, it'll be early in the season when he'll be coming back from injury. How would it work if they declared him unable to perform that week (not that I expect that to happen; I figure that he'll be "questionable" or something)? Would the suspension get pushed back a week?

Nick, are you SURE you don't want to give the Vikings to San Antonio? I know McCombs doesn't own them anymore, but come on...we have the Alamo Dome.....

I'm hoping to see a Vikings-Jaguars game sometime. The Jags are the closest team to me so it's the best chance for me to see them. Plus, the likelihood of the Jags selling out is low. They did play in Jax a couple years ago, but I couldn't interest any friends and was kinda tight then anyway (and still am, but maybe in a few years).

After all that trouble to get the damn stadium bill passed? Nah.
But maybe the Jaguars would like to move. San Antonio is probably the second most likely destination for a team after LA.

You'd get big draws from San Antonio and Austin (it's only 80 miles away). If San Marcos had more than 20K people it would be ideal, Half way between Austin and San Antonio.
Alamo Dome kinda does suck though....

Even Austin? I figured that they'd be a Longhorns town and a team would fare similar difficulties drawing from there as the Jaguars do in NE Florida. The difference being that San Antonio would have about twice as many people to draw from - without Austin.

They are. But it's a town of 600K people and Longhorns don't play on Sunday. And that is also the risk in San Antonio. They LOVE the Cowboys here. It sucks. Not in Dallas, but I still drown in a sea of Cowboy fans.

But trepidation of the spheres,Though greater far, is innocent. (John Donne)
