From the screen shots, Sasuke definitely seems like a wanderer, so him not returning to the village might be the surprise ending.

 

I'm beginning to wonder if it may not have something to do with Taka. What Naruto doesn't understand is that Sasuke was making connections with other people throughout his journey for revenge - Juugo, Suigetsu, and Karin. They've been with him far longer than the short months together that Team 7 have. All of them have grown rely on and trust each other with their lives. Juugo's dedicated himself to protecting Sasuke and even if he might be saying that they mean nothing to him, no person would willingly sacrifice themselves in order to save those aforementioned people or seek them out to share in a diabolical scheme to conquer the world like Suigetsu has. Karin's spontaneous nature and quirkiness are defining traits to her character, but she has proven herself to genuinely care for Sasuke's well-being (to the point where it might be fanatical love if her reckless bulldozing through an almost unstoppable force with powers she's never used before is any indication).

 

I think if there was any motivating drive for Sasuke to remain away from the village, it would be so that he could remain with his new companions while traveling the world. It would be interesting to see Sasuke accepting exile as punishment with his small band of convicts, righting the wrongs of the past at his own pace and helping those in need as an act of redemption.

You just misunderstood this moment. Sakura was just empathising with Hinata. That's all. Sakura is not selfish enough to be jealous about Hinata's feelings for Naruto in the middle of battle. Sakura is not the type that would react like that. Sakura is a supportive type. Just like Naruto.

I don't like the plot of the movie, but I'm getting the feeling the movie will be about Hinata's feelings resolution.
I still don't feel threatened at all.
