Alrightttt! Still needs a bit of work here in there with the shading but here's what I have so far.

Impressive but if that is intended to resemble SM then wouldn't it have a similar design to Hashirama's facial characteristics? Or is it intended to resemble Byakugou?

Sakura said she was almost done collecting something, which I am going to assume is chakra. In the Japanese version she definitely said "I will finally release my true power". That's no mistranslation. Tsunade said the only exception for a medicnin to enter the battle front lines is if he or she knows Byakugou. Byakugou requires chakra storage, Sakura is a medicnin and just entered the battle front lines, she's Tsunade's apprentice and Sakura had already demonstrated the ability to heal from minor injuries without the healing palm technique as seen here:



Note this was all the way at the beginning of Part 2 so it's quite logical to assume she became more proficient and skilled at it.

Add it up all together and you get Sakura in Byakugo form. It's not Sage Mode people. The final Sage Mode is the one Hashirama uses and that has to do with wood, not slugs.

Sage mode, but I didn't think it'd resemble Hashirama's mode. when it comes to the actual symbols. Is he in slug sage mode?

I don't think that Sakura is going to use the byakugou.... I think that she have a sort of Sennin Mode, maybe the same of that's Hashirama. Why am I saying this? Well, have asked yourself why Kishi put Hashirama near to team7 instead of other 3 hokage? Hashirama is using his own SM. You can imagine how will react Hashirama when he will see that pinked girl has his same sennin mode....

If anyone wants to take a crack at translating it, that'd be great.

@nath0man Oh yeah, I forgot about that... Well, maybe it's just the Creation Rebirth Sakura has, which is the precursor to Byakugou.

But this means that Sage Mode is more likely, right?
Unless Kishi forgot that he made Tsunade say that, aha...

This is true and if there actually is a correlation between the insignia on Hashirama's forehead and the Haruno crest (as peculiar as that may sound) then Slug Sage Mode is a possibility. Also, the other two SM variants were centred around animal sages, it's only logical to assume that the third one would be based around the only animal of this trio who has not yet received such a benefit.

Is there any evidence to indicate that those markings were simply a Moktuon technique?
