I'm wondering if that quote regarding NS's greatness relative to nH was intended to be interpreted in the sense that both Naruto and Sakura's bond is so powerful that they can remain close and confide with each other in spite of one not being attracted to the other in that light anymore. Then again, it flies in the face of Kishi's remark about needing to have them "go their separate ways" to justify the psychotic little Hyuga mope getting her trophy husband.

lol this interview has stuff that you might like (mostly what ramen already translated) and some things you won't (they talk about SS a lot). Mixed feelings on this tbh.

what I can't comprehend is why kishi doesn't develop it?

even in part 1, ss come from sakura. to make sasuke thing that sakura is her lover while there are no indication for that.

I mean come on, not even filler support that especially since this is the anime staff the one who talk about it.

There's a huge cross over his father's form. It's a symbolism. Maybe he hates his father or what, I don't know.

So it's essentially like Kakashi and Naruto's relationship during the wind training arc, except with virtually no lightheartedness or warmth between them and a 1000% increase in angst. How those two would find any compatibility in their personalities is beyond me, unless he started to perceive Hinata's spawn as a neo-version of the hyperactive knucklehead who he once considered to be his best friend. But then that raises a number of issues like why Sasuke is choosing to befriend a small child as a supposed replacement and how he is able to spare time for this other child when he's unable to offer his own spawn more attention.

I did this in Paint Tool Sai I believe with a lighter purple it could make a lighter kind of-fuchsia.

But, it just goes to show, even the VA's don't think NH could handle their relationship, so a third party will be needed to help them understand their spouses.
