Gang reading the script
Naruto:.... Really? I just fall in love with Hinata in this movie and not a chapter in the manga. I can believe a lot of the crap Kishi wrote but this is unacceptable.
Sakura:I agree with you Naruto. Kishi ruined my character turned me back into something I hated. My fangirl self.
Sasuke: I... I have no words.
Hinata:(Giggles) Naruto-kun.

Considering how little people understand Ginny, I'm tempted to join NaruHina fanbase because I'm seriously thinking allot of you are not good at reading between the lines, and I'm now wondering if I'm also wrong about NH, because H/G was obvious from the first book, her charactor had to grow up she was 10 years old in the first book, half you guys like to rant on about how Sakura was 13 year old when the manga started so she can't be blamed for her uselessness, but she grew up and became useful charactor. yet here you guys are doing the same thing as the Sakura-haters.
Ginny hero-worshiped Harry at the beginning and yeah was pretty useless but then again she was never meant to be the Heroine of the story, Hermione was the Heroine, But she was the one who stood upto Malfoy when he was belittling Harry, (Just like Hinata right? The girl who knew how he was suffering and stood up for him?...Oh wait that never happened.) but she was also being mind controlled by the most powerful wizard possably ever as well, she suffered alone for a year, Harry actually saved her life so for her to like him even more after makes sense, (you know like Naruto saving Sakura from Gaara) she's also the only one who knew what it was like to have an evil Wizard inside you tryin to control you. She was shy but one of the first words out of Ron's mouth about that was how she is nothing like that, normally you can't keep her mouth shut.
She actually tried to get over him, she helped him when he was suffering during Easter in Book 5. She helped him break into the Toads office so he could talk to Sirius, she went with him to the Ministry, they spent most of the time together in the summer of Book Six, that's when Harry fell in love, we didn't get the romance building because Romance was never the main focus of the books, it was having hints thrown at us that was meant to clue us in...the books were thick enough as it was there wasn't space for another hundred pages to show us the budding romance during summer, all JKR did was when Harry spelt the Amour potion for the first time, he smelt, Treakle Tart (his favourite Food) Broomstick polish (his love for flying) and Something Flowery, (Ginny), Oh and this useless girl was leading the rebelion with Neville and Luna at school before she was forced to go into hiding so yeah really useless.
Ginny was never meant to be part of Fantastic Trio, she was meant to be the love interest for Harry when they were both mature enough to actually think about love as more than hero worship or a somone with a pretty face.
If you guys can't see that then I can't help you, because Ginny is the closest charactor to Kushina, a strong Red Head with a Temper and a liking for playing pranks. And we all know who we like to think is just like Kushina right?
I don't really care about the Harry Potter pairings to be honest and never got into it, but Ginny is not like Hinata. She is not like Sakura. Actually, she has a little of both. Yeah, she hero worshipped Harry first, but she was never obsessive. She didn't do things to gain his attention or try to try to take a bullet for him just to be noticed. She was stronger than that and she even dated other guys too that was not Harry, so it is not like she was so Harry obsessed that that was all she thought about. She was kind caring to everyone and never let her fantasies control her life.
I am okay with Harry and Ginny because it was never thrown in our face or because Ginny's love for him was never thrown in our face and towards the end, Harry showed true reciprocation. This is unlike Naruto who showed no reciporcation. Ginny was also Sakura was well in many aspects where she was stronger, independant, and never let anyone push her around....(Okay, that last one is not really Sakura persay as she still did let Sasuke control her life throughout, but I blame the writer for that crap...every character was Sasuke-struck basically.)
And that's the problem. None of books really "lied" about the feelings of the character and at least there was alot of pre-tenses. Even if Harry's feelings for Ginny came out of nowhere around I think what...book 5? 6? It still kind of bult up better than NH and SS where they just came out of nowhere at the last possible minute. And it didn't even lie about Harry's previous loves as it showed how he feel out of love with them.
So to compare is not really fair in this aspect.
I think a better comparison would be like the Wonder Years ending where Kevin and Winnie didn;'t end up together in the end despite them actually getting to gether and havin sex up until the last 5 minutes of the movie.
"Brush acknowledged this disappointment, saying, "Some viewers [were] surprised that nothing works out the way your fondest wish would be," and explained, "The message I wanted in there is that that's part of the beauty of life. It's fine to say, 'I'd like everything to be just the way it was when I was 15 and I was happy,' but it seemed more nurturing to me to say that we leave these things behind and we go on to forge new lives for ourselves.""
People were disappointed by that ending as well.

OMG Wonder Years!!!! That was my first ever ship, how could I forget that, when the story ended I was so sad but at the same time I could understand, you might love someone wholeheartedly but when that person is gone for multiple years sometimes your heart moves on. I thought that was an important message to learn as a teenager. Kishi could have learnt something from that.

You know the Ember Islands play on Avatar? This Movie sounds like that.
Now that you mention it, this really does sound like that. I think the guy who made this,
should do the ember islands play with the Naruto characters. I think that would be amazing.
P.S. I just received Road to Ninja (Bluray version) in the mail today, and I sat there watching the movie and said "Damn this is truly why I fell in love with the pairing, and so much development" afterwards I told myself, "There is no way in hell that The Last is gonna top the amazing story with consistant characters."
THAT'S WHAT HEROES DO, THEY SAVE PEOPLE!!

I tried to see the movie as a fan but the inconsistency is too great and the plot is just underwhelming. Not to mention, how much cheesy it comes off. Disney doesn't do this way. While it has romance, it's not truly shoving down your throat. This one is doing it throughout the movie and failed to be convincing.

I know what you going to say, "Oh you have to see the movie." While true, the plot is already weak enough to hold off and everything comes off force. Even the idea of Naruto falling in love seems out of nowhere and rather never really contribute to make himself see why. It all feels pity in the end. Lastly, RtN spoilers were more pleasing than here. I remember reading stuff like two Kuruma fighting, the whole Akatsuki being good in AU, the plot that Naruto actually feel turmoil to stay or go, the fact that Sakura helped him to get a wake up call, and so on. It was pleasing here and out there. Only part that wasn't was the screen time for others, but guess what? Here, it seems much worse. Sasuke for 10 seconds! A new low.
So I don't know why the movie looks really stale, but I guess not everything can stay good and I'm referring to Kishi's writing, if it was ever his.

I guess "I'm sorry" makes up for a few years of complete abandonment. And the whole Sasuke was pushing people away doesn't work when Naruto and Sakura first initially met him at Orochimaru's hideout. At that time, his only desire was revenge against Itachi, not trying to make the world a better place, so why was he gonna kill Naruto and the others from Team 7? I'm guessing because that was the past he wanted to dispose of

Well Naruto was the only one who he wanted to dispose on purpose like he said before the kitten that is 699/700 the rest were just there in his way they were irrelevant to him heck he didn't even flinched when he was about to kill Sakura it was the same with the rest of the murder attempts and letting her die .
But yeah " I'm sorry " fixes up everything and it comes with magical feelings such a beautiful story and message Love doesn't need a reason only Chidori trough the heart , its enough to give you feelings 4life .
Also the excuse for Sasuke's pardon like nothing has ever happened "Oh Sasuke we excuse all the kitten for you and put up some lovey dovey words , of course we didn't mentioned that you fought Naruto and chopped his arm of , as well as capturing the Bijuu's and wanting to kill all the Kages to rule the world " . What happened to K11 not being ok with Sasuke coming back and him saying he doesn't kittening care even though he knew what he did it all vanished into thin air
.

" I am the sword in the darkness. I am the watcher on the walls. I am the shield that guards the realms of men. I pledge my life and honor to the Night's Watch, for this night and all the nights to come."

Hinata= Ginny, Irrelevant side character who magically gets relevant late in the series. No role at all the in the series aside from getting with the main hero. Useless just like Ginny. She was a fangirl of Harry just the same way Hinata fangirls over Naruto.
Yo don't you dare diss Ginny. While it's true that JK could've done better with her..nothing can compare to the overratedness of Hinata. At least Ginny sorta looked like Harry's mom lol.
I also never considered Hinata a love interest for the MC like Ginny. She was just a female version of Rock Lee IMO.

Funny how Hinata alone is destroying this series then huh?

*sniping only cause of my rant
We don't even know how Sasuke's exile works. I mean unless he snuck into the village, how did he and Sakura even... ugh. Anyway I don't like using "well he tried to kill her" as a excuse for why she shouldn't be with him. Yeah it's important to know, yeah it's a serious deal if he even just caused injury. No, I like to use the psychological effect as my reasons for why SasuSaku makes no literal sense in any form of reality or lack there of. For starters if someone makes you feel like a piece of s***, why would you want to spend the rest of your life with them? "Love doesn't need a reason" ~ Kakashi... BS, Naruto had one for Sakura in ch.3, Sakura had a shallow one for Sasuke but still a reason I guess in ch.3 and Hinata's debut she had a okayish reason for Naruto. But feelings can change over time if the person you thought you knew isn't anything like what they make themselves out to be. Naruto has no reason to move on from Sakura just because she "loves" Sasuke. And this is the killing of Sakura's character comes in... she's never herself when with Sasuke, she's always submissive, never challenges Sasuke because she knows her words mean nothing to him, always takes everything he says no matter how harsh it is... we all know where this is going. I don't know who can actually stand any of this; how does this couple even have a fanbase with any respect for people? This is truly the definition of a perfect love... All I'm seeing is a guy who's probably just using a girl as a tool. I get Naruto's a nice guy, he truly wants Sakura to be happy... but how could he not call her out on this? I mean he defended her from Sasuke's criticisms, yet he's the bad guy for Sakura or Sakura's the bad girl for not loving him since childhood? IDK what this world is coming to, but I'm losing faith in humanity if SS/NH are the best representations of the "perfect pairing" of todays standards.

That moment when you realize the "hero"'s final big development is getting the same emotional maturity as a 6 year old girl.
Bravo Kishimoto. Bra-kittening-vo.

Naruto was supposed to confess to Sakura.
Instead he confesses to Hinata. (Wtf?)
The entire kitten movie was set up to make Hinata's dreams come true. She matters even more than the main character hahaha.
SP Kikitten and this whole kittening series is a joke.
