There's no, "initially intended to parallel Sakura". She parallels Sakura regardless, and it's more than just a personality, and looks deal. You seem to completely disregard what's happened with NS and MK.

1. The compliment.
2. The rescue.
3. Personality.
4. Change of heart.

The only difference in MinaKushi is that neither Minato or Kushina do love someone else.
But NaruSaku's story is young MinaKushi parallel.

Kushina's hate for her hair (forehead for Sakura), Naruto's compliment (Minato for Kushina's hair), the style of rescue, taking the girl they love like a princess (did Naruto ever rescued Hinata like this ?), Kushina's personality, hate to lose like Sakura, but can be adorable to the one she loves, Minato's dream to be aknowledge and becoming Hokage like Naruto, the fact that Kushina says she was to young to see Minato, like Sakura did.

The only thing we need now, is the moment when Sakura will realize her love for him, and it will be the perfect parallel ever.

I don't see any NaruHina in the "before MinaKushi becomes canon".
It's true that the fact she wanted to sacrifice for him against Juubi is a MinaKushi parallel, but it doesn't count as a NH parallel.
It's a HinaNeji/MinaKushi parallel, not a NH.

Nope shes only involded with both Naruto/Sasuke not just Team 7. Dont downplay like her relationship with Naruto doesn't mean anything to her. Kishi has shown us its the closest and most important relationship in the manga to her tbh. I believe she cares more about him then Sasuke. Was in RTN all about sasuke? NO Kishi showed us NaruSaku.

The last time we seen Sakura was her big reaction of Hinata and Naruto then she just...disappears. somethings up. it happend with before in the Pain arc.
I really want to believe that Kishi is going somewhere with showing Sakura's reactions, and that this is just Hinata characterization, what's the point of showing those two reaction shots, if NH is canon and Sakura has zero romantic feelings for Naruto?

I'm not saying that Sakura only cares about Sasuke and Team 7.

I'm saying Kishi has decided that Sakura will only have a big focus or realization when Sasuke is involved. In RTN, the final straw for Sakura to realize that the genjutsu isn't what she really wanted was seeing Sasuke with other girls, giving them roses like he gave her. It was not the only reason, but the final straw, definitely.

Of course I believe Sakura loves Naruto more than Sasuke, that is obvious. She was willing to kill Sasuke for Naruto's sake. Not talking about that. I'm saying, why can't Kishi give Sakura development without any mention of Sasuke like the Gaara arc. Why must her role be tied to Sasuke. I mean, I guess you could also say her development is more tied to the togetherness of Team 7, which I'm ok with. But I don't know, when it comes down to it, I wish Kishi would give her a bigger goal?

I suppose he already has. He has given her the goal of fighting along Naruto. It just has yet to be seen. I question what other goal he could give her that is not dependent on the hero's goals though.

Okay with the storm clouds behind us now, I'm just asking, will some of us please be patient when the next piece of news comes up? There will be more bad news, thats true but there will be good points later on as well. Just don't overreact at first, wait till we see more then arrive at the conclusion, manga is still going, many things for our pairing plain and simple, just enjoy the flashback with Hashirama for now.

Does this sound like something all of us can handle? I can.
