All throughout the drama whenever my mom watches it every week before, I always thought,"A bunch of spoiled rich sexual people who had too much angst."

Gossip girl reminds me of school. It was a private school with rich and spoiled kids. The bigger problem than the kids were the parents. Whenever I saw my father's photo album, I see my friend A's father being lovey dovey with another friend B's mother, or someone's father kissing his friend's girlfriend (they both have wives) and so on. Of course all of this has happened in secret but I feel awkward when my friends are so friendly with each other but their parents are having an affair with one another. No wonder a lot of them got into drugs and turned crazy.

Chuck is Blair's true love. And Nate is a forever bachelor.

But I think Chuck isn't husband material (is that the term?) Dan is. But Dan is not gonna be with Blair

I feel you. I came from a private school too and the fathers' have multiple affairs. Especially politicians and high ranking officials. I haven't heard any scandalous affairs since they usually keep mum about it. The nuns made sure we won't hear about it when the students are at school.

Of course. But it's a small city, sooner or later it will be all expose. The mothers are a martyr housewives. They know that their husbands are cheating but still put up a nice facade in the public. I guess it is the price.
