Look at the manga, the focus is on NH.

Then by your saying, I can say that it doesn't matter that the manga is made by Kishimoto or not.

And what did Sakura idiotically running towards him accomplish? A debilitating wound to her shoulder and Naruto still in Four-tailed mode.
At least when Hinata idiotically risked her life for Naruto, it ultimately led to him breaking free and defeating Pain.

That was Hinata's lucky day. She had no idea Minato would appear, if it wasn't for him Naruto could destroyed what was left of the village, killed his friends yaddayadda. Pure luck. It told me she doesn't know how to deal with him.

But lets not talk about this "filler" movie made by Kishi.

The focus was on 2 caracaters development. Hinata's development was always related to Naruto. It doest mean NH at all. It's Hinata's development and Naruto being helped by her, like he was by everybody in the war.

I didn't like how, during the fight against Szayel, Uryuu and Renji looked so pointless and irrelevant. But my friend then pointed out how that fight was meant to develop Szayel, not Uryuu and Renji.

Kishimoto may have initially intended to parallel Sakura and Kushina, but in recent chapters it has become quite apparent that the parallel has been switched over to Hinata and Kushina.
The parallel lies not in superficial things such as the characters' looks and personality, but rather in their symbolic significance and love for Naruto.
Hinata jumped in front of Naruto to protect him from being killed by a Tailed Beast, just what happened with Kushina. And before you retort with "so I guess that means NejiHina parallels MinaKushi," think of it beyond mere character roles.
Kushina said to Naruto to find someone like her, in that she wanted him to find someone who would love him just as much as she did. Hinata proved that she was like Kushina in that her love for Naruto enabled her to try and sacrifice herself for Naruto, in the same manner that Kushina did.

Even in superficial terms, it should be noted that both Kushina and Hinata were kidnapped by ninjas from Kumogakure.

Yes Hinata loves Naruto just like Kushina but the FACT is Kushina personality, risking her life, love life parrallels to Sakura and Narutos relationship.
The looks and personality DO matter but You think Sakura also doesn't love Naruto just as much as Kushina did? are you crazy? LOL. the problem she has deep conflicted feelings for him she doesn't realize is love yet. I find it laughable you left out Kushinas love story thats parallel to NaruSaku. Also why haven't you mentioned Narutos feelings regarding his mother? Dont you know he finds his mom attractive and loves her?(Im not talking incest here lol)Only other person had he felt that way about was Sakura.

Kushina ACTUALLY said ''Dont pick a wierd one, Find someone like me, your mom'' What did Naruto do? he fell in love with a Girl just like his mom. the same taste in woman as his father. he fell in love a girl who sacrificed her happiness for well-being and risked her life herself to bring back Naruto when he went kyuubi out of LOVE for him, just like Kushina would have done. Sakura takes care of him as a medic and his the most outspoken supporter of him had complete faith in him way back when Hinata didn't and most of all saved him from loneliness (Team 7). bottom line is Sakura is just like Kushina.

The biggest problem you have is countless people have already said that its obvious Road To Ninja confirms MinaKushi = NaruSaku.

When Kushina is introduced, one of the first things that she does is lose her temper and hit Naruto on the head. People have tried to argue that she only does this once and therefore Kushina=/=Sakura, but as Kishi portrayed her in the movie, she loses her temper and lashes out at other people on a daily basis.

As to their similar character developments: both Sakura and Kushina initially looked upon Naruto/Minato with disdain, but their dispositions towards each of the latter two changed for the better after the men proved the girls' opinions wrong.
People argue that Kushina immediately fell for Minato after he rescued her, whereas Sakura has not been completely won over by Naruto yet, but they forget the fact that Kushina's story had to be compressed into the pace of one chapter, so her character development has to occur at a much faster rate than Sakura's, which is gradually done over the course of the story, as with all main characters in a typical story.

Both Sakura and Kushina had deep-seated insecurities over one of their defining physical traits, and were both picked on for it.
Kushina with her red hair and Sakura with her large forhead. Both Minato and Naruto are the first to compliment each women on this particular trait (albeit Naruto having done so while disguised as Sasuke).

Most importantly, consider the fact that a major aspect of a mangaka's storytelling is done through imagery, and the way in which the mangaka illustrates is a tool for him/her to establish symbolism and parallels.
With that mindset, observe these panels (some of them are redundant, but I think you'll "get the picture"):

Note: also remember the fact that all the panels of Kushina were drawn after these panels with Sakura. Kushina was designed to be like Sakura, and not vice versa.

Just for laughs, I remember "that someone" having once said that Hinata and Naruto were destined to be a pairing because of their opposing color themes. To that I say this: Did Minato and Kushina have contrasting color themes? Did Sakura's father and mother (who Kishi confirms are indeed canonically the way they are in the movie) have contrasting color themes?
Funnily enough, both confirmed pairings have a Yellowish/Reddish contrast, like with Naruto and Sakura:

K I'm getting off for a bit then, least this topic is actually acting like a debate thread again, no problem with Baguette and That Uchicha doing that, anyways weather they are trolling or really do ship NH, oh well, let em do as they please, we know the reasons for our pairing, they know the reasons for theirs (if they ship NH that is)

The member count caught me by surprise as well. Like, was everybody online when those two members decided to just convert to NH? The only time it's this active is when something bad for NS happens. The sad thing is that we all got so worked up by two FANS deciding to switch over. If Kishi made some statement regarding the pairings, then we can react however we want. But two fans who have no more say in the end result than any of us change over, and we go crazy. I advise that you all go and read Inferno180's thread called "We all need to chill out."

If u want to only look at the manga than that is fine to me, u know what i see, the manga to me has proven that Hinata will NEVER be anything more then a friend to Naruto. This opinion won't change for me either unless I see Naruto to say "Sorry sakura i loved u for 600+ chapters but im gonna move on now to someone who has no panel time."

Well, the thing is, Naruto hasn't seriously thought about his feelings for Sakura in 100's of chapters. There is no proof he still loves her. Now we see him growing close with Hinata and she's had a lot of panel time recently. Sakura has had none.

Can you see where Kishimoto is going here?
