Something that occurred to me a while back. If NaruHina is truly the end pairing then why is Sakura going with Naruto on this journey to save the world. Why exactly is she doing with Naruto? I mean from everything we know so far Sasuke comes back in Konoha to protect Kakashi, so why doesn't Sakura stay there if she ends up with Sasuke?

So many things about this ending don't make any sense.

You guys sincerely believe that Kishi and Pierrot will put that unused potential into the spotlight when we've seen neither hide nor hair of it anywhere in the series since the beginning of Part 2? The author is not above introducing character or plot concepts early on only to have them discarded with no future acknowledgement. Kabuto's old blood and his scelara turning a maddened blood red when excited in battle, Sasuke's uncanny resemblance to Madara's brother playing a key role in his change of heart, and Tenten coincidentally receiving the Sage tools when Madara was at the peak of his reign of terror were all ideas presented to add layers of characterisation and to act as a deus ex machina in resolving the impossible conflict chapters back.

The genjutsu potential might have been another one of those unused ideas that he originally intended to explore but scrapped later on.

Not really only that in spring P3 will begin by Kishimoto and it will focus on the "The New Generation" and that this movie explains what happened between 699/700    .  Don't know if it says exactly the same in the Raw .

When things like these are listed out, I swear it feels like I'm reading two different stories — one the Naruto that was going somewhere, the other the Naruto that was going nowhere. I hated the war arc, but I never once thought that those points were just throwaways, never to be built on. But obviously they were, especially knowing in retrospect that the Last movie was apparently already in the works.

I don't know if it means anything in terms of importance in the movie, but who knows. Sasuke and Kakashi are near the bottom and Toneri (the villain in this movie) is there too. Though maybe they won't play that big a role in this movie overall lol. 

 

thnx. i remember there was also a listing of some of the cast in the form of blocks and a user said that the size of their block represents how big of a role they will play in the movie. it probably doesn't mean much, but i thought it was pretty interesting.

My favorite is the one above about Naruto giving an excuse for why he couldn't have taken down a weakened Sasuke. The implication being that Sasuke had some secret power/ability up his sleeve. Problem is that we see no hint of this whatsoever throughout the remainder of the manga. At the time, I thought Kishi was going to explain this later on, but in hindsight, it was just Kishi covering his own ass for putting Sasuke in a situation where all logic dictated that he had no way out of.

I've been wondering if this wouldn't classify as false advertisement. By conveying a series of messages and images that intended to connect with each other, only for them to be swapped out immediately at the end for something entirely different, inferior, and uninspiring after so much emotional investment sounds like theft.

Whatever this movie is trying to convey can't outweigh or outdo all of the passion and attention given to Naruto and Sakura's relationship over the course of the series - at least not in the hearts and minds of those who followed them so closely.

However unlikely it may be, I hope that the people who wished for this terrible ending will have an equal disappointment come to them in this movie.

I've been wondering if this wouldn't classify as false advertisement. By conveying a series of messages and images that intended to connect with each other, only for them to be swapped out immediately at the end for something entirely different, inferior, and uninspiring after so much emotional investment sounds like theft.

Whatever this movie is trying to convey can't outweigh or outdo all of the passion and attention given to Naruto and Sakura's relationship over the course of the series - at least not in the hearts and minds of those who followed them so closely.

However unlikely it may be, I hope that the people who wished for this terrible ending will have an equal disappointment come to them in this movie.

If I could, I would give you a hundred likes.

Nothing can overrule the original series, and no one can convince me otherwise, not the NaruHina Fans, SP, or even Kishi.

So many things about this ending don't make any sense.

I believe that the reason why Kiba and Shino are not part of the group is because someone decided who were going to be more useful. Remember the first big battle "Naruto vs Sasuke"? Who went with him? Shikamaru, Choji and Neji. And remember how the position was? Shikamaru decided it, right? 

 

Some people here before 699 and 700 were complaining about Naruto being at Hinata's side, but remember this?

That's what I see when seeing this:

 

The last time he couldn't really choose. But what if he does this time? Hinata is involved, Naruto is the hero(?), Shikamaru is confirmed as the leader, Sakura is the best medic ninja and Sai is expert in infiltration... So, what do you think, guys?

Pretty sure that the sizes confirm that Sakura is indeed going to be very important in this movie, and I hope Naruto related wise.

What gives me hope is that the plot of the movie hasn't fully been revealed yet.  Just that "It's a love story."  Whose love story?  Is it a happy love story, or a sad love story?  Romeo and Juliet is a love story, but it's also classified as a tragedy because everybody dies.  (If you ever want to bawl your eyes out, watch the anime Romeo X Juliet.  Dammit I want to cry five seconds after thinking about it.)  Hinata is a major character in it, but so is here sister.  

 

The cover of the single for Hinata's song is not a happy cover.  Let me find my analysis of the cover art....

 

1. She is still behind him, and not beside him, as she has clearly stated many times was her goal

2. Colors and lighting (long shadows) are reminiscent of a sunset

3. He is turned away from her, so that she is looking at his back

4. The fog in the distance; things are "cloudy" or unclear

5. Neither of them look very happy

6. In fact, Naruto looks downright uncomfortable - hands in his pockets, face downcast

7. They are in the shadow, and not the light

 

This may be a love story, but that's not a happy ending image there.

Other thing I doubt a lot is that...Sasuke knows how much Naruto loves Sakura... He wouldn't just kitten her and let his friend suffer :| That's the only OOC thing I found about Sasuke in 699 and 700, tbh (obviously forgeting the rushed battle between he and Naruto and how easy he gave up on his aspirations).
