Personally I think ending the series with a movie is a much more epic way to end the story. I want the climaxing narusaku moment to have the best animation and production value.

 

But that also means that this movie has to be absolutely top-notch with lots of production time. This movie has to be the absolute best, and I think Kishimoto knows this.

Oh brother then what do you mean ? The movie is canon while the manga is still ongoing ? If so that still doesn't make sense because its spoiling the future . I've never seen a canon movie while the manga is still ongoing canon movies are usually done after the manga is finished as an epilogue and I would be fine if this is the case and all the plots in the manga are resolved before that .

What exactly is stopping the manga from having this timeskip as well? Like I said this new era could be referring to the second timeskip and this movie could just be a reintroduction to the characters to show us whats different after part 2. There's about 15 chapters left before the movie is out so maybe Kishi plans on wrapping Part 2 up but not the actual story, we still have the NvS that is still going to happen and I dont think he's gonna squeeze that in after the Kaguya fight.

I just noticed, they put the Hinata slapping Naruto scene as one of the manga panels. That trailer really needed more Sakura.

I'd consider that more proof that NS is the endgame.

They're also saying that the mysterious lady is definitely Tsunade holding her hokage hat and that we're looking too much into it.

Yep, the movie will be canon. Look at Naruto's right hand in the trailer, it's wrapped, which means something happened with his 'sun seal' thing, or he's just hiding it.

IMO, the manga will end in December, and then the movie will be released, meaning it will be some kind of epilogue for the manga. Maybe Kishimoto wants to use the 'features' of an anime, that manga doesn't have, I mean the soundtracks and etc... to make things more emotional in the end. Either way, I'm not sure this is gonna be a good thing to do, cause the anime will probably be ongoing on that date, and it will be a HUGE spoiler for people who doesn't read the manga, unless Pierrot pretend to rush things by now to reach the manga in December, and, consequently, ending at the same time, before the movie comes out.

Yeah its enough to wrap P2 if he's planing P3 in the manga  , as I said there are to many plot points there is no time to finish it till December if the manga was supposed to end till then and continue finish it with the movie or  series of movies which makes no sense and its betrayal to his own work and the readers and I just can't see that .

Pepsi@ I didn't know Tsunade lets her hair lose last I checked she has pig tails. In addition I didn't know she was flat, I thought she was a J cup. Now to counter their argument, "we're looking too much into it"? Really but aren't they doing the same thing hoping the sketched girl to be Hinata and really hoping she's married to Naruto in the movie? Somebody uploaded a picture of Hinata wearing the same clothes as the sketched girl holding hands with movie Naruto. Yeah hipocrisy level 100.

I feel like if it does follow, I feel like a lot of people will go under new route, but who knows. I mean everyone got their dreams somewhat, what's the moral behind that? If time skip, what's the point of downhill spiral of Sakura not feeling it anymore for Sasuke? Like I said, if that alone is going to make her quit before part 3 supposedly, I will have a gold boat!!
