can someone list the amount of times naruto and sakura have opened up to each other? i have an nh fan saying he's only opened up to hinata. and i don't want to look through all those chapters this late at night, i have to work in the morning( it is midnight here right now) list the chapters too if you can please. if you don't want to it's okay.

Sounds like a NH shipper to me.

• The fake date where Sakura confided in Naruto about Sasuke, even though Sasuke asked her not to tell, and she reflects on this while happily smiling and blushing
• The POAL where Sakura pours her heart out to Naruto, begging him to bring back Sasuke and that he's the only one who can do so; Naruto sadly accepting Sakura's love for Sasuke, and coming as close as he ever has to actually confessing his love for her ("I know how much you're suffering...I feel it too" --> equating Sakura's feelings for Sasuke (which he labeled love) to his own feelings for Sakura).
• The hospital scene after the fight at VOTE, where Naruto shows his vulnerability on his sleeve initially in trying to apologize to her for not fulfilling the promise, and where Sakura comes to trust Naruto completely, and then promises him that next time, they'll do it together
• Naruto telling Sakura (and if you look in the chapter, its her that he's addressing specifically) that Kyuubi is sealed in him, and how he hates how Akatsuki sees him and Gaara as nothing but monsters

Mostly though, Naruto and Sakura tend to keep things from each other because they don't want to burden the other with their own problems.

Yep it's the only scene in the manga where Naruto and Hinata has actually have a five minute conversation.

She never decline his request because he didn't have enough money, it happen in the Anime not the Manga. In the next page we see why it never happen, we cannot say that Sakura would not accept Naruto's term of 50/50 the anime Team jump to that conclution to To depict Sakura has a mean person.
The real reason why the date didn't happen is because of ShikaTema appearance.

And even in that chapter we see that Kishi cut it off, just like how he cut off many moments between Naruto and Sakura.
Plus the purpose of my post was to show that Sakura never have an actual date with Naruto, (not including the one in part one since that was mostly a manipulation on Sakura's part to share Sasuke's secret)
So in the end I think kishi can use that as a reflection where Sakura is thinking on those moment and say something like, Naruto you don't have to worry about the Date thing anymore because after this war we will have a real one.

I'm not saying that she only accepted the date because he didn't have enough money. What I'm trying to say is, in the manga, whenever he asks and she accepts -in the same way she does here- there's always this humor part that reveals Naruto never has the money at the moment to pay for it if they did manage to go on the date. She has accepted his requests before. But accepting does not actually mean they go on the date. You know what I mean?

I'm just pointing out, she does accept his date requests, but yes, a lot of the time they can't happen, be it no money or interruptions. And thus far, all the requests and accept's are a bit more on the comedy side -though I still consider them a bit of NS-

I think the most important question is, would this really be Naruto if there were actual dates in the series? This isn't a romance by any stretch, if there were a date it would have to be strictly to develoup the plot somehow, I don't really think a full on date chapter would be good for the series.

True, but then again I don't see why Kishi wouldn't be able to dedicate one or two chapters to resolve the romance part. I mean, we're talking about a 500+ chapter manga here. In that regard, one or two chapters is nothing.

I think if a date occurs, all we will see if maybe a heart felt acceptance or "yes", then a skip to a few days later without truly knowing what happened during the date other than it being very nice.

yeah I could see that happening, but if they went on a date, wouldnt that mean they were already together? idk just confusing to me how any type of date for any character could work its way into the series, just seems too out of place and unlikely

I'm speaking about an after war event just like when Jiraiya went to face off Pain/Nagaato and Tsunade promise that if he return alive he will not need to worry about being rejected by her anymore. I'm using this example for a Sakura Date request thing.

So you do agree that Kishi could use that Date thing has one more reason for Naruto and Sakura becoming a couple since it hasn't happen yet.





Side note. Since this place is where people really loves NaruSaku. Does anyone here feel that a NS fan is a fool or an Id**t because he doesn't like a story where the Author decides to make Sakura and Naruto twin brother them make a character poll so people could decide who should be paired with Naruto and Sakura. Does anyone feel that the specific NS fan is really a fool for asking the Author if he could change the characters filter form NS to another pairing, Naruto all or Sakura all.

Yes but think of the way that Kishi would confirm narusaku in the manga. he might just end the series with a bunch of pannels giving characters closure and then have naruto ask sakura out and she say yes and thats the last we ever hear of that. any other way wouldn't really make sense to me, that is where I got the idea that if they did go on a date they would have to be canon already or something.


I really dont know how a date could work its way into the series, my hopes are that it doesnt.

Didn't Naruto and Sakura go on a date when Naruto had a broken arm, and Sakura was about to feed him, but Sai interrupted, and they got mad?

Just a crazy idea.

After the alliance shows up Tobi will be forced to retrieve but before he ran away he notices how Sakura is really worry about Naruto, when she starts healing him and everyone is distracted he kidnap Sakura asking Naruto to come at him alone if he doesn't want to sacrifice the life of the person he love, then set up Naruto to faces off against Sasuke without any distraction. After converting Sasuke, Naruto end up being sacrificed at Tobi's hands trying to save Sakura from a sneak attack from Tobi trying to avoid her from healing him, after he is taken away by Tobi, Sakura end up asking Sasuke if he could please save Naruto since she doesn't know if she could continue living without him.
Sasuke then remembers when Sakura charge at him trying to protect Naruto and the time she argue back at him when he insulted Naruto and shouted Naruto's name when they face off at the Summit. With a smile on his face he say, I'm glad that you finally realize how great of a person Naruto really is, I'm also happy to see how much you grow to care about him since he really loves you, then tell her that he is very grateful that Naruto always believe in him and he promise her that no matter what he will save Naruto.

Eh.... Sakura isn't really the kidnapping type to me. Besides, I think Tobi would kill her rather than hold her captive. He only does that with people he needs, like Tenzo.

As for the Sasuke part..... I just can't see it. XD Seems more like something Kakashi would say.

how do we know Sakura and Naruto's love won't turn out to be friendly rather than romantic. that would explain all of the development between those 2, and it would make hinata's love for naruto have a meaning, rather than being pointless. it would so mean that if sasuke turned good again he could be with sakura, and nobody gets left out. besides sub characters, but really who cares about their romance? this theory has some decent arguments for it, so I thought I'd bring it here.
