I'm not a great expert of TLOTR, It's been a while since I've seen the trilogy... Didn't Gandalf leaved the human's world for an unkown place where you can live forever? It just sounds as the room the of spirit and time to me LOL

Putting it simply, a kinda sort of Gandalf in TLOTR...?

Sort of I guess. But like Inferno said, Gandalf was immortal.

EDIT- Just now thought about this, but Naruto marrying Sakura could cost him his life. Sakura could take the bad side of this picture when giving birth to their child:

This event with black zetsu doesn't rule out a NS moment in the future, I mean there is the recovery scene later, that should be one most likely.

This thread is pretty dead today for once ...  guess that means it's time to spark some discussion.

As of last chapter, Naruto's still out cold and things just got worse for him considering Madara stole away the Yin Kurama from him. The moment that happened, I got the feeling this was opening up even more NS possibilities after 663. I'm actually very surprised not too many people on this forum talked about it.

Sakura's only been so determined to believe that Naruto will live because of Gaara's information on the Yin Kurama so I feel like a lot of her hope will be slipping to see her last chance get stripped away. I predicted this before, but I think this might lead to Sakura's break down moment. Maybe not uncontrollably because she is in the middle of an extremely dangerous battlefield, but I feel like she'll start crying soon.  Sakura's gotten so much better at warfare composure if 663 proved anything, but I don't think she'll be able to take this that well now that her last hope was gone. But I'm also kind of seeing Sakura, even if she starts crying, immediately tell them they had to do whatever they could to take back Yin Kurama because she refuses to give up on Naruto's life.

Sakura, IMO, needs to go through this breakdown moment over Naruto dying if she's ever going to realize her true feelings for him realistically. I'm not saying it will definitely happen, but from a storytelling POV it should. If Kishimoto still tries to milk Sakura with her "confused feelings" for Naruto until the final arc, then that will be a logic fail and be terrible writing IMO. I wouldn't like that type of writing for NS, but I still feel like my theory is highly plausible. If Sakura's conflicted between her love for Naruto and Sasuke in the final arc, it wouldn't disregard Naruto's habit of getting everything the hard way. Even if Sakura loves him, there's still Sasuke and that sticks to Naruto having to work for things. Of course she'd chose Naruto, but the point is things will still be "hard" for Naruto.

If Sakura still doesn't realize she loves him after his near-death, then I think she could also when he wakes up. Sakura starts crying tears of happiness and hugs him ... realizing her love for him then is also really realistic. I know I say this a lot, but I just really have a feeling that Sakura will at least partially come to an epiphany in the coming NS chapter this arc.

I think Sakura will only have a breakdown if his condition gets worse. And I hope he does, I hope he'll be unstable, and Sakura and friends will struggle. The situation would be much more distressful if the time runs out, I'll bite my nails..

Back to question.. I want Naruto to either get worse, or wake up, before she breaks down. I think that Sakura, especially on the battlefield, is that kind of character that bottles up her feelings. Breaking that bubble would require something big.. Realizing your true feelings for a person when losing them is a big cliché, but it'd be realistic and completely normal. That's kind of how things become clichés, you know?

Hmm. Black Zestu is Madara's will so for Obito to take control of his body his will has to be stronger than Madaras. I believe that is going to happen and he will revive Naruto with BZ's life.

I believe Obito will see Sakura and she will remind him of Rin and allow him to take back control. Well thats what my Narsaku side of my brain says. So Naruto is actually going to die and get revived.

I hope Kishi won't try to drag out Sakura's conflicted feelings until the very end. She can only stay "confused" just so long and keep it believable. If Sakura does have some sort of breakdown soon, I would like it to be something subtle, not like Karin's tears streaming down the face dramatic reaction. I would like to see her still trying to keep herself together, showing her inner strength and fortitude in a way that is a good contrast to the over the top reactions of her part one self.

I'm still not so sure about Sakura coming to any realizations on what she really feels for Naruto right now, it's possible, but so long as there is some resolution in her wavering feelings for Sasuke soon, then I can wait for any NaruSaku. Lol, I feel like I'm just rambling right now. Don't mind me.

You know, it may be too late, but i still wish their was some more time to show a little bit more of the parallel between Naruto and Obito...with their "Rin" ya know?

Is there any chance that Obito, who as far as I know is still alive...might suddenly realize that although his chance to be with his girl is over, Naruto, the one who reminds him so much of his younger self, might still have a chance!

I think that Minato with Sakura will find some way to aid Naruto, but who's to say Obito's role is really over? I still think that he is going to have a moment when he see's Naruto and Sakura together, it's going to click.

Of couse, it doesn't have to. there is enough of a parallel there without him stating it... and at this point, I think Minato's words with be far more powerful as far as shipping hints go.

also, on a unrelated note, wouldn't it be awesome if Naruto DID see Neji in the afterlife, and there was some kind of comment that supported a Nejihina moment?  :chuckle:  ok...I know, most likely not going to happen, I got the Rock Lee SD on the brain ever since 664 came out..... :sweatdrop: that series really brings out the nejihina shipper in me...

I would love to see Sakura be so strong and composed again even though Naruto's dying right in front of her. That's what she did in 663. I was really proud of her. But, as I said, 663 was different. Then, Sakura was reassured there was only one way to save Naruto and that it would work. That's exactly why Sakura got so determined. However, after 663, I can't see Sakura being that confident. Her last hope to save Naruto was literally taken away right in front of her eyes. Her "only way" is in the hands of the enemy who's the most powerful ninja in the world. Sakura's strong, but I don't think she can take this well with the same amount of composure she had in 663. Maybe I'm underestimating her and I'd be glad to be wrong, but I don't she can be that put together after that.

I'm not saying she's going to completely flip out. Even though she probably wants to, she's in the middle of a battlefield and I know Sakura's usually the type of person who recognizes she can't make a scene like that and drop her guard down. I still feel like she'll cry, but she'll either push it away or say they have to get back Yin Kurama because she's not giving up on Naruto. I think that sticks true to Sakura, but seeing her not cry at all is hard to imagine for me.

Even if she doesn't lose it now, I'm fairly certain we will get a Sakura break down moment soon. Whether when it's Naruto gets worse or when he wakes up, but we will. I still say this is the most likely/realistic way to have Sakura understand her feelings for Naruto. I probably once would've said she'd stay confused until the very final arc on Sasuke vs. Naruto, but that was when I pictured a Naruto "death" scene against Sasuke (OVA). Kishi made this happen sooner than I expected so I actually think T7 will actually be a complete, self-aware love triangle (taking away Sasuke's indifference of course lol).

This is one of those times where Kishi can't just BS his way out of the situation. He can't pull a 'Sasuke upgrade' and all of a sudden Naruto doesn't need the 9-tails to survive. People want to see the fight with Madara, but people also want to see how Sakura handles this situation. Will she help fight against Madara? I don't think so. Madara is in a completely different league than she is.

My main prediction right now is Minato is going to tell Gaara to get Sakura and Naruto as far away from Madara as possible. Sakura will have to act as Naruto's life support until Madara is either defeated, or someone else comes along to help. That to me seems like it'd be the most reasonable action. If Sakura dies, then Naruto dies.

But really...I want to see more NS, but I really want the focus to be more on Madara. I want to see who has the power to stop him so badly! Of course...Kishi could pull another 'troll move' and have a zombie die of old age. Like WTF? O_O

Really, the only thing I'm coming up is Kishi pulling another 'out of the blue' move and all of a sudden Madara has a long time enemy even stronger than he is...yeah, I'm creative tonight...

Actually if you look at chapter 652 when the Bijju were extracted from Obito, you can tell that there some of Kurama's chakra was there amongst the other tailed beasts. Also remember that Obito through their chakra into the Gedo statue before it became the ten tails, so the Gold and Silver Brother's chakra won't be the saving factor of Naruto. It'll still be the Yin half of Kurama, somehow someway Minato is gonna get that half back.  Remember Obito is still there, and this could be his opportunity to regain control. At the moment he's unconscious. Also judging by how this week's chapter went, Minato will play a crucial role in the next chapter considering that he'll do whatever it takes to protect Naruto. The only obstacle I see is Madara is also present. So unless He gets cocky about just coming after the eye, and ignoring Yin Kurama completely then maybe Minato will get it back. I know Kishi's got something up his sleeve, but the Gold and Silver Brothers chakra won't be the case since Naruto got it back after the Bijuu were extracted from Obito in 652.

Just a note: for those of you still thinking Sakura will pull a chiyo to save Naruto, she won't because that's only a technique that Lady Chiyo knows how to do. So yeah I believe that Yin Kurama still will be the only way to save Naruto, somehow Minato will get that back from black zetsu. The tools there are gonna the things that lead to Madara's defeat.

I must have forgotten about Naruto pulling out Kurama's chakra when he was fighting Obito, well there goes that theory  :glare: . And really I couldn't agree more Sakura saw Chiyo's jutsu for like what? A couple of minutes max? I hardly doubt that you can learn a jutsu that fast and just by watching it unless you have the sharingan.

This thread is pretty dead today for once ...  guess that means it's time to spark some discussion.

I would love to see Sakura breakdown and find out how much Naruto really means for her and all but with Madara being there now I really doubt we'll have anything like that for the next few chapters, realistically speaking   , maybe just Sakura having an inner monologue about Naruto's condition or something. If Madara weren't there now that'd be different, but atm I just can't find in a place to squeeze in a narusaku moment, hope I'm wrong though!

The fact that NS hasn't had their big moment yet, just means theirs more NS to come, which I'm excited for. However, I was wondering, since Sakura put her lips on Naruto, do you think Kishi will skip an actual kiss and possibly only do a forehead kiss than the epilogue?

Also I had this weird, but awesome NS dream, should I share? lol

Not really. It only established that at the very least, lip action is acceptable. That and well it has that blessing in disguise tactic of showing how far one person goes for one.

If you don't mind, sure.
