I honestly wonder why Kishi changed his story entirely and decided to do something like this because despite what he said, why in the world would you honestly work on a story for fifteen years, give people this much of it with lots of development that looks like it is heading to the end, and then suddenly do a complete 360 and pretty much leave logic for some bad fanfiction? I'm guessing he wants everything explained in the movie, but I'm not going to watch it. I'll read over some spoilers and general outline of it all, but nope, no more.

Funny how never talks or figures out a way to stop the cycle of hatred. We're just supposed to believe everything is peaceful because Kishi says it is. Yep, that's some good storytelling there.

Because he has no answer for this. He never has had one. It's been evident in all the unsatisfying TnJ's and the complete ignoring of obvious objections to what was being done and said.

His answer is the enemy of my enemy is my friend. That's about it.

I'm crossing my fingers that the movie bombs at the box office and then SP/SJ/Kishi will feel pretty stupid when they find out, they're screwing with the wrong people

I don't think you have to worry about that. Japan doesn't really like NH. so i don't think they watch it anyway.

you still got wait till monday for the official release in japan but some online are aware about the stupidty of the ending and I hope to god it fuels a rebellion.

I don't think you have to worry about that. Japan doesn't really like NH. so i don't think they watch it anyway.

 

But what if they start advertising SS?

He did it, though.  Who knows why?  He crapped on Sakura's character to get her with Sasuke.  SS was a horrible pairing that was not the least bit positive, and suddenly, Sasuke is all good and suddenly has feelings for her out of nowhere, and it happens.  Where was the sense in that.  Sakura would have been better single instead.  Kishimoto set up a plot line for her to strive to be just as strong as the boys, since Forest of Death, but he never has her achieve that at all.  The way Sakura has been treated leaves many with a headache no doubt.  Kishimoto just can't write females.  Great, now I'm saying it!

I agree with you that he sucks at writing female characters. This was already proven a long time ago. But the main problem is not the romance or his handling of female characters.

The main problem is that the main character didn't really gain his objectives/goals. He didn't even really finish his own story if this is supposed to be the ending. And I don't understand that.

As I said in my previous post, there are MORE story fans than pairing fans. So if the editor really cares about money, he should have catered to the story fans, NOT the pairing fans. Hence, I have a hard time believing this was done because he was pressured by the editor.

My friend doesn't really ship but prefers NH if he had to pick it, says it was alright but it was a little weird

Yep..imagine if he did accepted her love in ch 469? She will be sad for Sasuke for 2,3....5 years? And then she'll move on, like what did Naruto, in this unbelievable ending.

Or imagine if he didn't care about the fact that he shouldn't confess because of the promise...And just have the courage to save Sasuke and winning her heart, at the same time.

Definitely, nice guys always lose, sometimes you have to be selfish.
