Hard to say, it would have been befitting of a tragedy, but it wouldn't have been bad as in the Naruto sense. You could tell that it wasn't really an ending, because a lot of things were left up in the air. The problem was that nobody then knew that there was a second part to it because it wasn't announced. I believe on the first page of RE chapter 1, it said a "surprise serialization" so it wasn't announced. The purpose was to keep the tension high after the "ending" of Tokyo Ghoul, which it did until about the seventh chapter of RE, when everyone took a collective deep breath.

Same here. Tumblr spoilered the entire endin of TG and ch.7 of : re. I never went through the short trauma the other TG fans have gone through shortly.I think the ending would be fine. I didn't mind the ending of TG, simply because I knew of RE when I started. I can't imagine how I would have felt if I had known about TG before the ending. But then again, the ending left so much up in the air anyway lol

So I just saw the first dubbed episode of Tokyo Ghoul and is it just me or did the voices feel kinda odd?

Kaneki's voice was the only one who kinda felt odd for me because it was pretty deep compared to his japanese one
