My bad. After I replied I realized you were just trying to convey a romance free development regarding her powers. It wasn't a full analysis of her regarding the entirety of team 7.

No need, that 2nd databook crap is already established that she tried but Sasuke declined it. Think as the Kizuna book. Overall, there's nothing much going for because it only described the picture of "Thank you".

That's what I thought it meant from the start, but the thought that it could be interpreted differently creeped into my head.

Yeah, you're right. As long as Sakura is getting to play a significant role, as the heroine should, I'm happy. That being said, it's well past her time to get something new in her arsenal of attacks. I'm tired of Sasuke and Naruto getting all of the haxxor upgrades.

Bah, unfortunately the version of the 2nd databook wasn't high quality enough and my friend couln't get the correct verb, however, what she did told me was this:

"Losing Sasuke, who was the ??? of her heart, Sakura found herself instead."

And she said that the whole thing was on past tense, which means, she loved him, so to speak. But she couldn't find anything with the lonely existence stuff.

Anyway I am glad of that thing with "you two" because Kishi is alluding at Sakura being on equal foot with Naruto and Sasuke, which will be hella badass!

One thing I find very funny is how some haters or NH fans go, "How can Naruto treat Hinata like this? After what she just did for him? After how neji sacrificed himself for them?"

Funny, didn't hinata just seemingly gloss over Neji's death and rather thought about how Naruto's hand made her feel all safe?

Then this proves by logic that NH would just be a fragile relationship with backstabbing events.

Okay jokes aside, the arguements of NH at this point, I'm just seeing flawed logic in most cases, I seriously cannot see a way for it to make a comeback after Minato's Kushina-Sakura parallel.

I mean a battles about to start, the second to last, there is more NS stuff to come, I'd expect a bit of it in this fight and towards the end, but I just cannot think of any stable ground for NH at this point, where can they find a spot to just build it more as many of the fans proclaim?

I remember one statement with someone making a desperate attempt to make this chapter seem anti-narusaku trying to use the kushina parallel against us and saying it makes 2 kushinas.

If you ask me, if they are upset with how Naruto treated Hinata, doesn't it make more sense for Hinata to have someone who is not constantly forgetting her then.

Aka, NH is on the decline in my opinion, its going to be much harder to make a comeback because of this parallel confirmation. To others, its dead. I however wait until we actually see whats done (aka if Hinata was just happy for Naruto and Sakura or if there is closure between Naruto and Hinata, something that would show NH as dead from that point). I'll wait to see when the ship is fully sunk. Well just glad NS is better than ever.

Yeah, and the guys at NF already translated in the most accurate possible way, which turns out the lonely existence was tweaked. I believe redragon88 still have the accurate translation. But if you insist, I wouldn't mind for more disappointment for SS...I mean, hope...

can you tell me the correct translation of this sentence? I've heard that there is a mistranslation in this whole 'filled his lonely existence' thing .. but I've never found another translation of it...

Man I have the 2nd databook with Japanese translation, I will ask my friend about the stuff with Sakura filling Sasuke's lonely existence.
But anyway, in the 3rd, Kishi adresses the matter "the one Sakura loved was Sasuke". And then in the part with new feelings, we have him talking about Naruto and her feelings for him.
How blind can people be, tho?!

Yeah, apparently the "filled his lonely existence" bullsh** was mistranslated. Here's how someone else translated it:

'The love of Sakura filled the emptiness of loneliness, but Sasuke wasn't able to reciprocate it. the only word he can find to tell her goodbye is "thank you".'
This makes a lot more sense than that other translation.

Still, though, definitely ask your friend to translate it; it's always good to get different perspectives when it comes to translations. And maybe you could post the raw here, too, if ramenanmitsu would be willing to translate it.

And yeah, it's funny how people bring up the "filled his lonely existence" thing so often, but completely ignore the fact that it was also stated that Sakura had feelings of more than friendship for Naruto.

He should have when she was talking but instead, he just like "ok". Sasuke is Sasuke, if you noticed already. It goes like this. Ok, Naruto already knows that he was coming but wanting to hear what's up without saying anything. When he shows up, Sakura didn't expect this at all. It felt like a glitch in the world because who saw that coming. It's like in wrestling, when two big business man hated each other, but one night, that one man came back after the defeat of his company and hugged the other guy. How "OMG" moment can you get? Anyway, that was her reaction. To make sure it's really happening, she said his name in a questionable way, so when Sasuke turned around and said her name, it's confirmed that it's really him because he speaks in his own voice with his own looks. It's like when Gohan thought he saw Piccolo, but once he turned around, it was Krillin. So when it was true, she couldn't believe it, which caused other K9 to react quickly because he was there and he may attack them, which is not true. So everyone questioned him and then he answered them in a nutshell. Naruto heard him and reflected back to Itachi's words, which now motivated him to take care of the rest.

See, people are trying hard to make it more than what it means. Sorry NH/SS, this chapter isn't yours.

LOL Well, your initial thought was correct. Never thought you would question this though. I'm not even worried. This is her time to shine. It's been succhhhhh a long time coming! I KNOW Kishi isn't gonna screw this up.

I hope she gets something that totally fits her. I actually wonder if Kishi put a lot of thought into whatever she's about to do. Seems like she'll use some variation of the technique that Tsunade used. It'd be awesome if it were both Sage mode and that since the only thing we haven't seen is the Slug sage mode.

Naruto saw her fight already in the beginning when they fought Kakashi. And given Sakura's claim, and the dialogue, it's a given that she has something up her sleeve. It's understandable considering all of the time she's had in Shippuuden. For her not to have anything is quite crazy considering a lot of the other rookies do have new moves.
