I'm only assuming that is his reason for getting involve in this movie. But points lead to what I said he did sounded annoyed at Jump Festa 2009 telling the cast of Shippuden about the rabid NH fan mail.

Honestly, I'll just say this:

Would I like NS fanservice?? Yes.
Is it necessary?? No. Not certainly.

Seriously, nitpicking the movie just for one edited scene is just.... plain whining, if not complaining. To be honest, I don't really care for NS fanservice because that's not what I read/watched the series for. I watched the 5th movie because I heard the movie was good. Needless to say, it was satisfying enough for me. Of course, it fell short of what I expected, but it was most definitely entertaining when compared to most Naruto movies.

But that's enough ranting. Here's some good news:

If there is NS fanservice, that would be cool, but I think people are getting their hopes up high.

What I want to see is some awesome family fanservice! I watched over the episode when Naruto met Kushina and had to say goodbye, my god it's still so sad. And I've fallen in love with this song. The "Arigatou" makes it even better. Just.. so touching. I'm sure they'll play this song sometime in this movie. I just want to see Minato and Kushina interacting with their son. And images of Naruto when he was younger with them would be 100X better.

昨日、テレビで「インセプション」をやってました。
他人の夢に潜入してアイデアを奪う男たちの物語でした。
今、確実に目の前にある現実と、
バーチャルな夢の世界をいったりきたりするので、
ちょっと混乱しましたが（私だけ？）
秀逸なＳＦクライムアクション映画ですよね。

ところで、先日、
今年のナルトの映画について
社内でいろいろな議論をしていました。
その場で、ナルトを知らないある方から、
「結局、今回の映画は夢落ちですか？」
と聞かれました。

もちろん、違います。

今回の映画の舞台は、
現実にある木ノ葉の里から、
仮面の男が作った幻術世界に移っていきます。

ナルトとサクラは、
夢の世界に落ちたのではなく、
幻術によって作られた木ノ葉の里に、
いつのまにか来てしまっていた。
（気が付いたら、
周りが変わっていたというのが正確な表現かな）

だから、幻術の世界とはいえ、
それは連載世界と地続きでつながっている
「もう一つの現実」といえるのではと思ってます。

おわかり頂けると思いますが、
まさし・く！
原作者でないと踏み込めない設定ですよね。

In the issue of Weekly Shonen Jump that will be sold today there is also a lot of information about this year’s movie. If you’re interested, please take a look.

So, now... I think that the question all fans are asking is “How, and in what way, do the characters in the genjutsu world differ from normal?”.

Even though I only listened to the after recording, it was full of scenes that sounded so interesting... so much so that I think just watching the movie for those will be lots of fun.

Still, for everyone who is waiting impatiently, know that at the end of June there will be quite a lot of new information! Come look at it in the official movie homepage, in our twitter and in my poor facebook page! (laugh)

Yesterday they had ‘Inception’ on TV. It’s the story of a group of men who infiltrate other people’s dreams and snatch away their ideas. But since they kept going in and out of the reality in front of their eyes and the virtual dreamworld, I was very confused (was it just me?). It’s an excellent SF, crime and action movie, isn’t it?

By the way, the other day we were discussing this year’s Naruto movie at the company. In that occasion, I was asked by someone who did not know Naruto “So at some point, in this movie, they fall inside a dreamworld?”.

But of course things are not like that.

In this movie’s setting, they are moved from the village of Konoha that exists in the real world into the genjutsu world created by the masked man.

Naruto and Sakura do not fall into a dreamworld, they arrive into the village of Konoha created by the genjutsu without even noticing. (If they noticed, I guess maybe the changes in their surroundings would turn into an accurate representation...)

So, even though it’s a genjutsu world, I think we could say that it is “another reality”, connected by adjoining land to the world of the serial story.

Well, I think you understand... and of course, it’s the sort of setting we could never have stepped into without the original author’s contribution.

Thanks for the info a powerful genjutsu that creates a dream world so it's not really an alternate world like some are claiming. The gejutsu is that strong that everyone in that world is very much real, I believe Sakura will be the first to notice that it's a genjutsu since she's a genjutsu type.

I wonder what new information we'll get by the end of June. July couldn't come any faster.

I hope that at least we get a more detailed trailer by June 15 as many have previously discussed.

Yeah, I think that's why they are not letting much out about Sakura's plotline in the movie other than what is directly involved with Naruto. I'm figuring that Sakura being a genjutsu type and her struggle to break the genjutsu will be a core part of the plot, they don't want to reveal anything about that until close to the movie release date. It sounds like June 30th will be the major movie teaser release date, we will likely get hints about Sakura's plotline then. What they've revealed so far is just the set up and the startling elements.

If the trailer really do show on 15th, then that trailer must be the info of the plot and the where about of Naruto and Sakura. Clearly, Kishi planned out on his characters, especially Naruto. Naruto's "what if" life is going to be a major point to his character. I can see that he wants to tell a story that if Naruto have a chance to live in a life where his parents are alive, would he mind knowing that he's in a illusion. I can see him being upset that his parents aren't alive and feels sad yet happy to experience family. As for Sakura, well yeah, she can tell if it's genjutsu so she can be a big help. Even so, I don't think this is only intention that Kishi had in mind. Think about it, having her only to do one thing seems...somewhat a waste of potential. Surely, she is going to be in combat, kicking arse. That said I still can't help but to think why. Why have her not being effected by genjutsu?

All I can say is, wait and see.

Because she and Naruto are drawn into the genjutsu together. The changed characters are part of Tobi's genjutsu.

I agree. It just seems weird all of a sudden after numerous times of Pierott screwing up and hate mail of Sakura he'd want to get his point across

I think she pretty much uses her original outfit under that coat.

On the side note, I love how there is a bunch of junk food laying around as these guys produce the movie. The otaku way of life burns strong!
