I think there will be a break from NS this chapter. It will focus on the mystery foot and sasuke/madara.

You know, I'm starting to think the reason why 631 went the way it did is because of what's going to happen next. Like it would be an awkward moment with Minato asking Sakura if she's his girlfriend while Naruto is dying. This way as he knows she is his girlfriend, he probably go all serious Minato mode, not the comedy. It's possible the next moment would be like the time before they wed, telling them good things and advices for their son/daughter. I can see that happening. Kishi is like doing many family advices in his work.

I think minato seeing Sakura like that is going to show him just how much she really does love Naruto, like Kushina, she goes all tsundere, but really, when push comes to shove, she is the one that has his back.

And she has always been that way, true she was more annoyed with Naruto when they were kids, but hell, so was Kushina.

I have so much hope for the coming chapters, and I'm looking forward to sasukarin too, maybe it's just me, I think it's oddly cute. Much like enjoying the pairing of The Joker and Harley Quinn. That's chicks crazy for loving him, and it works in it's own way.

Of course, I hope that Sasuke will never hurt Karin again. :(

For more Sakura Minato interaction, it could be serious but along the part of it being his birthday would be one thing. I think if anything at best, Minato would ask her name at least, but thank her for being someone who cares a lot for naruto. It would be something to which even him being undead would be happy about, I could see him thanking her for keeping naruto alive, technically its all the work of gaara, sakura, and minato combined working to save narutol. This interaction though possible, it could be a heartfelt moment, one in which there may be some kushina thing brought up again but literally, if more sakura minato interaction comes, if its literally a stronger 631 by minato saying he is happy someone like sakura cares for naruto or he knows he is in good hands with someone like sakura, heck anything kushina related comes again, it would be again just more renenforcement on the kushina foreshadow many other fans opposed to NS abandoned once 631 came out.

 

I mean its not all going to be NS in the coming weeks, only expecting small parts of it, rather the dialouge and stuff leading to the recovery of naruto and sasuke, but there will be potential for NS as long as Naruto is down.

The situation is too dangerous for comedy now, but I wouldn't mind something of it afterwards. Minato's first reaction will be extreme concern, but Sakura's efforts may assure him that Naruto will be alright.

If he wakes up when she's doing it, he will be dead, no pun intended. If he wakes up and Minato just happens to explain in a dumb way, he will be shocked. Not sure but this could spark good comedy if done right. That said Minato won't disappear if he extract his to Naruto, right?

I think it really depends on what jutsu Minato uses. The death seal would need Minato's soul, and unlimited life force won't save him.

That's true. It's sad if that's the case because that would mean Naruto won't have his father to stick around for his birthday.

As far out there as it seems, i expect after madara is defeated, the sun rises and its narutos birthday and as wishful thinking as it is, what if sakura's gift to him was a truly mutual and warm reception after nearly loosing him? It is again a CPR moment, but just not only as a fan of NS, just as a general NS fan, I'm really disappointed that many only look to the CPR, rather they just bypass or ignore the important stuff of sakura vowing to keep him alive and make his dream of being hokage come true. The real juiciness of this part is the thoughts and stoic looks she give him in this part in vowing to keep him alive and wanting that dream of his to come true, yet sadly we know what happened, people called it just a necessary "friend saving another friend," said hinata could do it, that its just brother sister stuff, saying sakura looked disgusted or looked away from naruto (when her eyes were focused on his chest to see if the respiration was working and his lungs were receiving air, seriously people don't make simple realizations even like this?), saying she would do more for sasuke or enjoy it with sasuke, and worst of all, calling sakura necrophiliac. All I can say at this point is, this chapter made some fans angry and I mean real angry, to resort to calling sakura a necrophiliac, thats just, its not low, its really dumb, I mean now some are calling sakura some person who abuses corpses? Thats just sick minded, to think some fans truly believe its like that, its just god, that's not even an argument, its outright disgusting, narutos not dead he is unconscious, his body is still technically alive but not operating on its own, sakuras just supplying the necessary action to keep his body active. I seriously cannot believe people just resorted to arguments or seriously interpreted it like this, I mean its CPR but the major thing to focus on is sakuras thoughts, not the CPR. I mean a good majority of the NS fans were not chanting canon like many NH fans did in 615, as much as we want a kiss though, this is a good substitute for now, but it still just shatters my mind how people claim Sakura doesn't go far for naruto and yet here she is, risking her own remaining energy to keep him alive (well she was risking it when she used her chakra, now shes doing physical work to save the energy, shes a medical ninja but like all ninja not everything a ninja uses has to rely on chakra, to her skill set she has to use chakra for most healing but she has skills in the medical field that are both chakra and non-chakra dependent as well). But I honestly feel NS may just be ready to speed ahead while both SS and NH may take a few blows, if sakura reveals more to us in the coming chapters this hurts SS. If hinata remains distant and non impacting of the current event this hurts nh,

 

Even then, we can just go and say NS has literature elements like chekovs law behind it, yes its better defined in an older tumblr post about "Why NS is the bigger picture" google it if you never saw it, it came from about a year ago.
